“Mexican restaurant (not a franchise) located in a nice area of High River Downtown, serving food from Central Mexico. The food was great, flavourful, and nicely served. The owner and staff are very friendly, and the restaurant decoration makes you feel in Mexico. Prepare to spend between $20-30 pp. If you live in Calgary or Okotoks, visit High River and support local businesses. it's a short drive and you will find friendly people and nice areas for shopping and outdoor activities.“
“cozy atmosphere. sitting by the fire place with lots of windows over looking the golf course I was very pleased with my meal, 9 oz Alberta beef steak was very well seasoned, and tender . grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes also very tasty. for dessert we had sticky toffee with snicker icecream. so yummy , a must try . our food servicer was very attentive, friendly and checked in with us to make sure every thing was fine . plus this was her first day as a food servicer , so kudos to her and her supervisor. well Worth the drive into the town of High River for a lovely lunch or dinner.“
“I've had Dominos Pizza from multiple locations, but by far the High River location stands out. Their pizza dough is always on point; light and airy, has tooth bite but not overly chewy, great taste. For some reason, dough from other shops is always flat and like cardboard. Service is always fast and friendly. Hard to believe that a chain fast food pizza store could stand apart form the crowd, but THIS LOCATION does.“
“Always a friendly place to go! Greeted promptly when entered, beverages and food are always on point and typically not a long wait.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly side with booths or chairsWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair assessable at the front“
“The most amazing Korma I've ever had! It literally danced on my tongue!!I've been here several times over the years and will not go anywhere else for authentic Indian food.Wonderful atmosphere, great staff, super clean. Not sure why this place isn't packed!!??“
“Really enjoyed our visit to the Pizzaberg Cafe for supper tonight. The cajun chicken cacciatore was devine! The portion was so generous that I will be eating leftovers for a while. The owner was our server and she was extremely kind and considerate. We will definitely be going back!“
“This store is so clean! The staff are awesome and so helpful. Amazing customer service! I drove down from Calgary and it was well worth the drive, after being disappointed by Superstore being out of products after waiting several days, this store was a breath of fresh air. In and out in no time and I got everything on my list! Baking powder, flour and even yeast.“
“Wow! ☺️ was I amazed by Miss. Irelands commitment and respect she had for this establishment. Not only did she get me my drinks in under 2 minutes, she went through every item on the menu to help ensure i would find something I liked. The thai wrap was one of the best things i’ve ever eaten. I WILL be coming back here, and I hope i’m lucky enough to have Ireland as my server again.“
“I can't comment on the service or atmosphere as my husband ate there and brought me home his leftovers haha...but I'm so glad he did. This was hands down the BEST garlic Naan and coconut chicken I've ever had. Wow!He did say the service was amazing and he was shocked the place wasn't full with how good it was.Make sure you check this place out. Our 5 year old enjoyed it too.“
“This is a good little restaurant. The food is always fresh. The only complaint I have is that when you order chicken fried rice or bbq pork fried rice there is hardly any meat in it. For the price, it’s not worth it to order the fried rice dishes. And it’s consistently like that. Not sure why they are charging so much because you are really just getting flavoured rice with about 5 small chunks of meat in the whole dish and some frozen carrots and peas. C’mon J and A, stop cheaping out on ingredients! All the other dishes are great!“
“The service was perfect in that we were well taken care of (joked around and recommendations taken!) but it wasn't too much either. Went for a coffee and a treat, both were great. The only disappointing thing was I wasn't hungry enough to try the Triple Threat Grilled Cheese, I will be back to try it “
