Canadian Steakout Grill & Lounge

A friend and I both had the pork ribs and my son had the brisket. We each had a drink with our meal. We all thought the food was awesome and the service was friendly. In fact, it was not just our waitress who checked up on us, but other wait staff who passed by.
I would absolutely recommend this place, and I'll be back the next time Im in Hinton.

There was a ROCK in my food! I almost cracked my tooth on it, and when I told them, the manager just shrugged it off as nothing and said she’d tell the kitchen to be more careful. When I said it was worrisome, they gave me $2 off my meal. AWFUL management here. I wouldn’t recommend it and I’m not coming back.

Visited this steakhouse in Hinton and was pleasantly surprised! The portions were generous, the flavors were spot-on, and the service was impressively quick. They have special deals on different days, which adds a fun twist—but I was a bit thrown off seeing a cheeseburger as the Thursday special at a steakhouse. Still, the food was delicious and the overall experience was great. Would definitely return, just maybe not on a Thursday!

Best steak in my life

Marian was our server, cheerful and efficient. My husband and I both had the steak diane, caesar salad and red smashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious. We highly recommend it and would definitely stop in again when we drive through Hinton.

We had the spinach dip as an appetizer and it was drippy like soup barely had any cheese mostly a milky consistency it wouldn’t even stick to the tortilla chips. The chicken wings were squishy and spongy. The prime rib looked and tasted as though it were boiled it was grey and smelled putrid. The worst of all was the steak sandwich I had which was absolutely inedible the meat had a putrid taste and the side poutine had an overwhelming rosemary flavour in the gravy! Everything was absolutely atrocious ! Our waitress didn’t ask once how our food was only came over to see if we wanted to box it all up and I said no because all of it was bad she didn’t ask why or how anything could be rectified she simply picked up the plates without a word and walked away. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody in fact I am certain all their good reviews must be paid reviews or from owners friends/ family and they rely on sucker tourists who trust the high rating. Do not go near this place !!! I should add we are a super easy going family when it comes to eating out! Have never had a food experience even close to this horrible if I could give zero stars I would.

We went on a Thursday at around 11:30am. There was only one table when we arrived, but it shortly after lots of people came in. We got the cheeseburger lunch specials that came with one side for $16. It's a great deal and the food was excellent. It came out fast, hot and fresh. The cheeseburger had pickles, onions, tomato and lettuce. For sides we got sweet potato fries and a garden salad with house dressing. The house dressing has a bit of a minty taste. The sweet potato fries came with a generous portion of chipotle sauce.

I would highly recommend stopping by for lunch if you are on your way to Jasper!

Didn't expect much as I prefer my steak med well, I got steak salad...AMAZING 4 Oz steak perfectly cooked and TENDER. Flavor so good I bought their seasoning. Salad was huge, very fresh and better than 90% of salads at most places. Hubby had the friday special of prime rib which I tasted, omg even better Flavor than the steak...
Would definitely go again, wish they would open one in Prince George, BC. We would drive the 90 man each way at least once a month!!
