WORST SERVICE EVER!! ALBA RESTAURANT DOES NOT ACCOMODATE FOOD ALLERGIES!!My son has allergies to egg/egg products, peanuts/tree nuts & shellfish. Right away when we mentioned the allergies, the server gave us the impression that my son could eat nothing at the restaurant. However, over the past couple of years we have eaten at Alba before and they happily accommodated and went around my son's allergies. He was able to eat the gluten free pasta because it had no egg in it.We told the server about checking the gluten free pasta option and after speaking to the kitchen, he proceeded to bring me the box to show me the ingredients....There is in fact, NO EGG in the ingredients of the gluten free pasta, but the server says, "I know it doesn't say egg in the ingredients, but my chef says that it does because that is the ONLY way to make pasta. So no your son cannot eat the pasta even though it doesn't have egg on the pasta!"At this point, we left because it is clear that ALBA DOES NOT SERVE PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES!!

We have just dined at Alba and the food was beyond delicious. It was a slow night for them but the service was impeccable and the food was amazing. We started with Calamari and it was perfectly done and very tasty. I had the Carbonara and it ranked with ones I have enjoyed in Rome and Milan. My wife had the Duck Confit Papperdelle and has a similar response - DELICIOUS and also generous portions. If you are looking g for authentic Italian food in Jasper or merely seeking to enjoy some exceptional service and delicious food, Alba is the place to go! I recommend it unreservedly.

For starters, our server was nice, professional and came to bring us our food pretty quickly( it was a fairly empty Wednesday night). But I feel as though the service got worst throughout the night. The Arancini balls were quite small and were kinda mid. I was also pretty surprised they charged for bread, every Italian restaurant I’ve been to has given it complimentary. My ravioli was really good I like the nuts they added, it gave more depth and a better texture. Only thing I would add is for the price tag maybe a couple more pieces. The lasagna was quite bad, it was way too sweet and the noodles were over cooked. Both people that were with me didn’t finish their lasagnas. The tiramisu was unexpected. Thought it would be more of a cake with thin layers of cream but it was the opposite. It was more of a yellow pudding with tiny layers of biscoff, not good. Would not recommend the tiramisu. To conclude, server was okay but you can definitely get better food at a few places on the strip. Only thing I enjoyed and tried was the ravioli and the bread.

Very nice restaurant. We ordered the risotto and arancini, they were pretty good. We also ordered the steak and the lasagna, but both were awful! The steak had a huge nerve through it, very cheap cut. The lasagna was half grease and oil.The service was excellent, they were apologetic and offered us free dessert and took the bad food off our bill. But even the dessert was sad. The tiramisu was more of a yellow pudding. Maybe they have a new chef?I’d say great service, not so consistent or good food.
