Love love love this place! Discovered it by accident last year walking down Whyte Ave, and so glad I did. Been there several times now and haven’t been disappointed. Small place with a unique atmosphere, lots of Japanese culture. You order from a tablet at your table, which might not be for everyone but I really enjoyed being able to browse freely and order things as and when I wanted to. Server was always quick to bring drinks and food. And of course, the food was phenomenal. I can honestly say everything I’ve tried has been amazing! Their appetizer platter is a really great way to try a few different things. Will be back!

We love the ambiance. The service was really exceptional and very welcoming. Feb3rd table4 9pm… she’s really sweet and pretty, she even offered to take a picture of our family.
My kids loved every food served. Perfect and melts in your mouth experience. Will surely come back. The best sushi we ever had :)

Damso Izakaya is a fun spot to enjoy Japanese-style dining. The tuna and salmon rolls were fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. We also tried the chicken skin skewers and edamame, which were perfect for snacking and sharing with friends. The portions are generous, and everything is easy to eat and enjoy, making it a great place for a casual, filling, and enjoyable meal. Will definately come back❤️

I have only been here a couple of times whenever I am in the neighbourhood; and it does not disappoint! I and my family love their dragon roll and bento lunch set, especially the salad and miso soup that come with it. We like how user friendly their order system is. We enjoy the interior decorations; it make us feel we are not in Edmonton even just for a while. Friendly service. Kudos to the chef for consistency!

Such a cute and cool spot! A very authentic feel of being in Japan. A lil something that’s cool and fun is using the iPad to order. The sashimi in general is very good, along with the ikura bowl and Saba are all personal favourites. “SOO” was so cute, friendly, fun and takes initiative! Props to her! See you again soon

This place is just delightful and amazing. The pictures surrounding you just sets a vibe as if you were in Japan. The food is utterly delicious and has the best quality you can find. The servers and cooks are just amazing people. They helped me pick out the best stuff to order and their own recommendations. Not to mention the drinks are amazing too. I personally believe that this is the best Japanese restaurant in Edmonton. So if you have time check it out.
