10/5 would eat here all day every day if I could afford to LOL. My mind was blown at all that was on offer. Whoever your chefs are my hats off to them. The food the flavors the pairings the combinations of flavors the presentation on top of an atmosphere carefully curated into a cozy lively Japanese style tapas bar with the most stellar customer service from your servers you can't go wrong here, you just can't. My brain had fireworks going off the entire time I was there tasting everything I had ordered from the duck and beef tataki to the 5 assorted sashimi and the aburi saba. It was "chef's kiss". If you're new to Edmonton and love Japanese styled and inspired foods you HAVE TO COME HERE. Reservations highly encouraged we got lucky to get in as quick as we did without one, but this place is VERY popular.

The food is excellent, delicious and very Japanese. I love the Japanese vibe a lot - one thing, though, it could be a tiny bit quieter ;) It is sometimes hard to talk to the people you're dining with because of the music.

Went for lunch and the kitchen was very accommodating when I requested hamachi sashimi. Small portion but was decent considering how far Edmonton is from the ocean!
The lunch bento is a good deal and everything is prepared very well.
The restaurant decor is very neat; only thing I would say is the music and anime playing were kind of loud making it hard to talk.

I really liked the atmosphere. We tried a number of sushi/maki dishes - like some more than others, but generally all flavourful.

The atmosphere is really nice here. Definately better then majority of Japanese type izakayas here. The prices are kinda high though. Quality was good food wise for the price.

The food is good on average and the customer service is good.
I enjoy the feel of ordering via the touchscreens on the table, reminds me sincerely of some of my izakaya spots in Tokyo.
The owner seems cool as well.
Pics to be added.
Check it out, especially with friends and have a cup of beer and some rolls. You’ll leave feeling merry.

Parking: It’s Whyte Ave-parking is a thing.

The ambiance of restaurant is comfortable. Very cutesy. Very demure. Food is great, izakaya vibes, which makes it great for drinking. I was recommended to come here by Akari, and definitely did not dissapoint! if you need a night out, want some japanese style bar drinking experience, find them on whyte ave.

Tried this for the first time this week, it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was great. I love the artwork on the walls, lots of references to Japanese media and pop culture, the music was great as well. I can definitely see how it can be a bit noisy with everything going on but I really think it adds to the feel of going to a real bustling izakaya almost.

The food was delicious and super fresh. We tried the poke nachos because it looked interesting and I was pleasantly surprised, they ended up being super yummy. The pressed salmon sushi was good but some of the flavours got a little lost, I would say there is definitely better elsewhere. The midori wave roll however was phenomenal. SO good, I could not believe how much I liked it. Super interesting flavour profile but it all worked, definitely recommend ordering one if you’re planning on eating here. Overall awesome experience, had a great night with my friends.

The tablet ordering reminds me of Japan, and the food is great. The atmosphere is amazing, with Japanese pop and music popular in Japan like Eurobeat.

I wish this place was bigger to fill with more people! This is a must for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine! I am just getting over a gastro bug and I had their seafood and deep fried things and much more I ate the most I've eaten in days and didn't get sick at all. I would go back here over and over! Everything we tried was beyond any expectations I may have had! I cannot stop thinking about it and I cannot wait to go back for more! Also the convenience of ordering food whenever you want during your meal from a touch screen makes for faster service and the food came out so fast and all so delicious and gorgeously prepared !
