One of my friends asked me to go this place together, so I came back to this place again. Service was perfect. This server recommended her favourite menus, and they were absolute killer! TOO GOOD It was that perfect Sunday dinner. And I will come back for sure.
Food was divine! Servers looked really exhausted and tired of working busy Friday night though. Glad that we have touch screen to inquire needs.

Wife and I had dinner here on a wednesday night. The restaurant has a really nice cozy vibe. The food was excellent and the servers were great as well. Ordering is done using a touchscreen menu. You can use it to order food, call for service, ask for more water etc... overall i really enjoyed thw dinner and vibe of the place and would recommend it to others. I would go here again.

Damso has become one of my go to spots in Edmonton especially on Wednesdays. The $1 salmon sashimi is honestly such a steal, super fresh and always hits the spot. I’ve been here a few times now and every time the service has been great. Soo is usually our server and she’s amazing. Super friendly, remembers us, just has a really warm, and welcoming vibe. Even when it’s busy, she handles everything so smoothly. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving sushi or just want a chill spot with good vibes and great service. Soo is the best.

I've gone here twice so far and am obsessed with the food and prices. However, when I visited on Friday around dinner time, the lady who took my payment wasn't the most pleasant. I messed up the tip on the machine and accidentally put 5 cents, so I gave her a $5 bill, which was over a 10% tip, and she didn't even say thank you, nor did she even make eye contact with me before taking the machine out of my hand and dismissing me and my partner. I'm hoping my next possible experience goes much better.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food is 11/10 — incredibly delicious, freshly made, and the portion was HUGE (I even had to take the rest home!). The atmosphere? 1100/10. It feels like you’re walking into a cozy Japanese street — with authentic music, posters, and artwork everywhere. So charming and immersive! And the staff? 10,000,000/10! They’re so friendly, fast, and cheerful — I barely finished placing my order, and the food was already on the table. Can’t recommend this place enough! Will definitely be coming back!

The most notable thing when you enter this restaurant is the friendly ambiance and the variety of decorations that give you a temporary escape from your daily routine. Everything is so thoughtfully placed and although seemingly visually disorganized at first, everything sets itself in place as you allow the setting to consume you. I especially enjoy how there are a lot of elements of anime, manga and overall Japanese pop culture; the music is diverse and relevant to current trends.
The food is very unique and the menu is thoughtfully crafted; each order seems to have it's own character, small quirks that really separate itself from the ordinary.
The ordering system is intelligent and efficient and the staff welcome you warmly.
There is so much more that I can describe but my best recommendation is to simply check out Damsp Izakaya because every visit brings new experiences with friends and family. This restaurant just has a charm of it's own.

Unique place, good food and good service. The chicken was decently moist and not dry, had a nice light sweet spice flavor. Fries were crispy and tasty, could taste the bulgogi and creamy avocado. Rainbow rolls were nice and tasty.
