This place is great! They have so much cool stuff on the menu, and best of all they have a great yakitori selection. The staff was so friendly, and the decor made me feel like I was chilling in Japan. I can't wait to go back again!

I've visited this place twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, and overall, it's been a pleasant experience. During our Sunday lunch visit, we were promptly seated despite not having a reservation, although the food did take a bit longer to arrive. For dinner, on a busy Friday night, even with a reservation, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes, which was understandable given the crowd.I highly recommend trying the Midori Wave roll, the Shrimp Parade, and the Pressed Salmon Sushi – all delicious choices. The interior decor is quite charming, adding to the overall ambiance. Service was generally quick and efficient.While most dishes were impressive in both taste and presentation, I found the Unagi pressed sushi to be just okay. However, the beautiful presentation of each dish certainly adds to the dining experience.Overall, it's a great spot for sushi lovers, with a welcoming atmosphere and a variety of tasty options on the menu.

It was my first time visiting this place yesterday during late lunch and it did not disappoint. We went over the menu and ordered some of options that piqued our interest. They had FRESH Uni and their tataki was spot-on (tried beef but would be interested in trying duck next time around). Got the Truffle Roll as well and we had to order it again because of how good it was. Not a big roll person but it'd be one of my constants when visiting Damso. Excited to try the other menu items on our next visit. Perfect for dates or hangout with friends and family. Overall, must visit and would have to try coming in the evening time.

Absolutely amazing! The food and atmosphere of this restaurant are perfection! I have NEVER been so happy from just going to a restaurant. Thank you to all the staff that make this establishment what it is.This was EASILY the best restaurant experience I have ever had, and I look forward to enjoying many more meals here!Special mention to the chicken skewers. They are phenomenal! I also really enjoyed hearing the entire kitchen line thanking customers as they were leaving.Domo arigato!

We went there to celebrate our friends birthday. The food overall was great I would recommend eating here. Service needs improvement though. One friend had to come up to the service counter a couple of times just to get our server to bring us water and take our order and when we did get our order it seems the rest of it was forgotten. The place wasn't busy or even fully booked. Because I liked the food even with the lack of good service I would have just tipped 12% but since I suck at math and their custom tip doesn't give % option I ended up giving more lol. But anyway I still recommend eating here just be prepared and tip wisely if you are not satisfied with the service.

I’ve tried many Japanese restaurants but most of them are westernized (in a good way for sure) but here, I can feel the respect for ordinary Japanese izakaya style.
