One of my fav spots in town. I dream of their cowboy sushi and brie. I love all the appies, and they are super filling. Fantastic wine and cocktail selection too. Always fabulous service.

A few things were strange.

Started chewing something funny. Had a scrap piece of parchment paper in my meal. Was advised it must have accidentally got there when they scooped rice as the paper is used in cooking rice.

My Japanese poke bowl was supposed to come with avocado. They must have run out and swapped guacamole. Rather odd getting a Mexican Japanese fusion dish.

The other meals we had were good, but unfortunately mine wasn’t good for the reasons above. Server was aware of problems but really didn’t offer any solutions.

Evil Dave’s Grill in Jasper offers a vibrant dining experience with a globally inspired menu and locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant is known for its unique dishes like the “Cowboy Sushi” and “Malevolent Meatloaf,” which have received positive reviews for their creativity and flavor. The ambiance is modern and inviting, providing a comfortable setting for guests. While some patrons have noted that the prices can be on the higher side, many feel the quality of the food justifies the cost. Service is generally praised for being attentive and friendly. High price. Small portions. Not kid friendly.

They had a highchair but that's it. No baby change table in the bathrooms. No plastics cups or plates/ cutlery. They gave us glass, which is a disastrous combo with toddlers.

We were recommended the Cowboys sushi. It was okay. Pretty heavy for sushi and drowning in sauce. My husband liked it but not for the price.

We got the wicked burger, which was tasty but smaller than we were expecting. We ordered it to share but it wasn't big enough to fill us up.

We also ordered the WTF dessert which only came with two banana spring rolls. It should have 4! It was tasty but unstaisfyinfly small.

Overall, prices did not match the level of food delivered.

Food was made up of frozen precooked chicken and vegetables with canned sauce… and not at all as suggested on the menu. Overpriced and under whelming.

Awsome find on the north end of town. Great atmosphere. The wicked tuna poke bowl was delicious. Thanks Mike for being so accommodating moving tables so we had a window view as 1st time Jasper visitors. Reliable great service!

Fantastic food and drink! As someone with celiac disease, they had great gluten free options. All staff were knowledgeable and felt super safe eating here. Wish we had this in Ottawa, ON because we would be regulars!

Overall a very good experience. The only thing I could say, the food is a little bit pricey but the customer service is excellent.

As usual food and ambience was great. The Chef noodles were delicious. We come here a lot and enjoy it every time. I will say the service was a bit off this time. Never had this particular waiter before.

This is our favorite Jasper restaurant and has never let us down. We ate there for the past 2 nights. Tried different appetizers and entrees. My husband loves the steak. I enjoyed fish tacos and the salad. My daughter thought the cowboy sushi was the best.

Best food in Jasper by far. My family always visits Evil Dave's when we're in town.

My wife and I love Evil Daves. The food is always good and has a unique spin. The Bulgogi Green Onion Cakes are a delicious appetizer. The Meat loaf entree is a favorite as well. The space is modern and inviting. The Waitress we had the last couple times is great! friendly and good service. We are avid snowboarders to Jasper and will continue to enjoy Evil Daves every time!

I expect to get quality food at a restaurant with prices like this. Save your money. I’ve had better grilled chicken sandwhiches at McDonald’s. Quite disappointing. Chicken breast was dry and overall flavorless , tiny portion of fries were frozen and salted , nothing special at all for 27$. I was going to order the meatloaf but the table next to me ordered it and for almost 40$ it looked very small and covered in a gravy like it was from a cafeteria. The atmosphere was lovely and clean and the service was good , staff friendly , just slow. From the time we walked in - and no one else was waiting before us - we waited 8 minutes to be greeted. We were seated right away because we had a reservation.
We come to Jasper a couple times a year and thought we would check this place out and we tend to go to our favourite places. We won’t be back . I’m happy to pay money for delicious food . This isn’t the place.

Was looking so forward to supporting local and trying for the first time. Was very disappointed of quality of food. I had the chicken sandwich. Chicken breast was Was very dry over cooked and flavourless Bun was old and dry. Side of fries were frozen shoestring fries and the quantity was bad. Plate appeared empty when I received it. For 28.95 I felt ripped off. A teen burger at A&W would have been cheaper and tastier. Very disappointed. Our server was great however we stood at the reception for over 5 minutes waiting for the server to come get us, seen it with many guests after us. Maybe a host would be better.
