My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner overlooking the serene Pyramid Lake and surrounding majestic mountains. We enjoyed the gorgeously presented and fantastically flavored Bison Tartare, Brussel Caesar Salad, Angus Striploin and Duck Breast. Finishing with delectable Crème Caramels. The atmosphere was stylish and was comfortably warmed by the generous fire in the ample fireplace.

What a treat for our Anniversary, beautiful view, beautiful room, Charly was superb! We had the Aalto Caesars, cheese plate, sirloin( perfectly cooked), chicken fettuccine (rich and delicious) and finished off with pavlova excellent with a “happy anniversary in chocolate! All in all sensational!

Ate here last night for the start of our honeymoon! We felt extremely spoiled, impeccable service by Sean (he is FANTASTIC!) My husband and I both LOVED our drinks and entrees! We got the duck and the steak! I loved the scallops and the pavlova as well! Seated right by the window for the dreamiest dinner! Aalto has created such a gorgeous ambiance, with great food, and a beautiful view! Thank you again for spoiling the newlyweds! 🤍

On a sidenote, i don’t think we’ve ever seen a steak cooked more to perfection than the one we’d been served. We had perfect medium rare, medium, and rare. On all sides equally cooked, and perfect temperature aswell

Would not recommend eating here. We are staying at the Pyramid Lodge Hotel, and overall this was an extremely disappointing meal.
The view and location was outstanding, and the service sufficient, but the food was very poor and overpriced.
We sent back a starter, the Caesar salad with pork belly chunks, which came without a dressing and left us digging out tiny pieces of rock hard pork belly. The other starter, the bison tenderloin, was tasty although served with a handful of crisps which were in the early stages of going slightly stale, or at least certainly not fresh.
We had the bison tenderloin steak and salmon mains, and to echo other reviews, the salmon was overcooked and dry, and the steak (whilst cooked well) was extremely over-peppered, and the veg over-salted, which completely overpowered the dish.
After the first two courses we decided to skip dessert.
We ate at the sister restaurant, Terra, in downtown Jasper earlier in the week which was absolutely fantastic and much cheaper. Would highly recommend eating there and driving to Pyramid Lake separately to enjoy the views.

another server, male, dark skin, black hair, and i think his name starts with an A or something… he is very clueless and has no idea what is happening. we had to repeat ourselves many times for him to understand what our request was.
otherwise, my mother and i really enjoyed our experience here.
