I've visited this restaurant multiple times, both before and after the recent menu update in August 2025, and every single experience has been a pleasure. The environment is always clean and welcoming, and the staff are consistently friendly and attentive. Plus, the free parking is a bonus!
My recent visits have been focused on the new menu, and I was especially impressed by the Mushroom Swiss Burger. The brioche bun was so light and delicious that my daughter stole half of it! :))) The Mushroom Ravioli (Ravioli ai Funghi) was also a standout—the sauce was creamy and rich, and the two pieces of garlic bread that came with it were perfect for soaking it all up.
The appetizers here are a must-try. My favorite is the Lemon Pepper Calamari, which has a special cut and a wonderfully light batter. The Steamed Mussels Italiano with garlic bread was also excellent. From the old menu, I enjoyed their steak (the portion was so big I couldn't finish it!) and my daughter loved the kids cheeseburger.
Unfortunately, I've been so full every time that I haven't gotten to try a dessert, but the Sticky Toffee Pudding sounds very tempting! Also, my brother ordered the Beet Salad, and it was incredibly eye-catching, so that's definitely on my list for next time.
Overall, we have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. While I'm not sure if you would travel all the way from the heart of Edmonton to the airport just for the experience, if you're staying at the hotel, you should absolutely take advantage of the opportunity and enjoy their all-day service.

The service, food and atmosphere were all fantastic. We had the fish tacos and the butter chicken. Both dishes were amazing. Anu was our server and she was friendly and courteous. We highly recommend Ric's Lounge & Grill.

This place was crazy expensive we had the Canadian breakfast which had 2 eggs and 2 pieces of bacon and breakfast wedges with toast for $21.99 😱 and they count your refills and was not that great. On a side note all they played was Indian music 🤣. Tip go across the road to Montana's as they serve breakfast till 11 AM and it is $20 for a massive breakfast, we even had left over meet bacon ect... To take over to our room, plus they played Canadian music and atmosphere was perfect 😎

The restaurant is a hidden gem, the food is amazing, the wait staff are kind and the atmosphere is always relaxing. Can’t say enough good things about this place and our waitress Kashish.

I just had the best butter chicken I've tried yet. The new chefs are GREAT, and do an amazing job! I'm always tempted to order a second plate, the dishes are so good!

The mussels are amazing as are the Truffle fries.
The breakfast tacos were so tasty!!!

Burrata Carese salad and Beet and Goat salad were also very tasty and well presented. I look forward to trying all the new menu items!

The Ravioli Ai Funghi is absolutely amazing!!

We chose to have dinner here before our flight since the restaurant is located directly in the hotel and is therefore easily accessible. The staff made sure to serve us well. The food was excellent and perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend. A special thank to the our server and to the chef who came to see us (on his birthday) to inquire about the food. It’s an appreciated attention.

Came here with my 2 kids before our flight. Service was terrible, and it was not busy. Even simple things like bringing the right amount of water was a challenge. Super slow. Didn’t get the orders correct. There were three tables seated and took a forever. You’d think an airport hotel would know to be quick. Food was great though.

Had a great experience at Ric's. The manager let us know they had a new menu that they were all excited about.
I had the mussels and they were fantastic. They also have a lot of really nice pastas to choose from on this menu.
The service was amazing, servers were all very helpful and really welcoming.
Would definitely eat there again!
