I had never been to Japenese Village and had always wanted to for as long as I could remember. Went to celebrate a friend's 50th bday...it was not great for conversation & the experience was very
underwhelming. My hubby & I will not go back. The food waa decent.

I walked in behind miss Mara here and she was upset because she never made a reservation and threw a pity party.
Food was fantastic, servers and cooks are incredible and entertaining characters, and loved the lively environment and company.

The classic egg soup was delicious as usual, followed with a small salad, then the cook comes out and cooks infront of you. I usually like to try something different when I go there. This time I got the a5 wagyu. It was $119 for 5oz. Portion was small but that's wagyu for ya, the cut was delicious and melted in my mouth. As always staff was very accommodating, polite, and always coming around to make sure you had everything you need. One of my favorite grub spots when I have a little extra paper.
