Been here many times. Tried a different flavour this time and so did my wife. Very disappointed in both. We switched and they weren't at all palatable. Mine actually had a chemical aftertaste. Just tossed it out the window in disgust. It's sad to waste expensive icecreams.

Went to this location today and had very poor service the ice cream was melted and and mixed very poorly when I went to pay I was told they couldn't take my cash and could only take debit I now write this while stuck on the toilet as I only assume something was bad or expired I have never been lactose intolerant or allergic to anything....

After tasting their exquisitely, amazing ice cream, it has honestly changed my life, after coming to marble slab for my whole childhood, I feel like it has changed me as a person, I feel it has made me a better person, and the relationships and connections I’ve made throughout the store has helped me grow as a person. I would highly recommend the Sherwood Park marble slab to any other local citizens who are trying to find an amazing treat to have!

We do reduce the quantity of mixins a bit when they exceed the amount of ice cream, only because with too many mixins, the flavour of the ice cream is lost. It is only a suggestion to guests but a guest can get whatever quantity they want. We hope this helps.”My reply to the owners response is as follows:Unlimited mixings is not an option at the222 Baseline Rd, Sherwood Park, AB T8H 1S8 Marble Slab location. My boyfriend and I often go to Marble Slab and have never run into this issue at any other location. The owner stated that we were only allowed 4 scoops of mixings and 1 brownie was counted as a scoop. In a half litre that is pitiful. Definitely not worth your money. I am not sure if you know what the definition of suggestion is, but when you say “it is only a suggestion to guests but a guest can get whatever quantity they want” it is laughable because when we asked for more mixings you stated that we were not allowed. It was an order, not a suggestion.
I never like to badly review places but my experience was NOT good. I used to love this store but I bought icecream to go and when I got home, I noticed there was dirt all over the rim, like my bowl was dropped on the floor. The dirt got into my icecream, as well as brown bits of things I did not order. Unfortunately, I do not think I can go back again :( for such a high price, I’m very disappointed.

Ice cream was extremely soft and melting even in the tubs in the display. Seems like there was something wrong with the freezer temp. I accidentally ordered the wrong flavor and the staff member knew this but didn’t offer to make it over for a positive customer experience. There was a line up and she was working by herself so maybe that was the reason. Even so, won’t be back.
