The most amazing atmosphere and filled with the most lovely staff and regulars who make the spirit of this place SO positive, uplifting, and safe. I feel like I can be myself here, whether that's outgoing, loud, silly, anything. It's a space where tons of different people come together and suddenly everyone is welcome. If the world was more like Gracie's, we might have world peace. I feel welcomed as a friend instead of a patron. At karaoke nights, even if you're the worst singer of the night, you are valued, and cheered on. It's about fun and happiness here, no judgement. It's also a safe LGBT+ space. I appreciate that. Thanks so much for making such an inviting space.Ps, drinks are lovely, there is no food served so eat before or bring a snack, parking is limited but there is street parking around the corner, and dancing is always an option if you want to get jazzy! (I know some karaoke is singing only, not here!)

Super cool bar with really distinct décor. The Caesar was top notch. Very tasty. The only feedback was it was a tad chilly in there, but we were there when it was nearly empty.

I have never felt so accepted as I have at Gracie Jane's. There's a bar about a 10 minute walk away from my house, but I'm willing to spend the extra money on an uber to come to this unique location run by the friendliest hostess I have ever met. You're not just a customer at Gracie Jane's, you're family.

Gracie Jane’s is the hotspot in St Albert. It is a feast for the visual senses. The walls are adorned with Gracie’s artwork, and bright colours are in abundance. There is bling on everything in sight from the tables to the curtains to the lampshades, and it is all for sale! They have karaoke every Friday night and it’s a fun time. Gracie is usually behind the bar and she makes the most delicious drinks. This place is a must see!

Dont remember ever being treated so poorly by staff. Our server Kylie was clearly inebriated and very rude. Just ruins the night.

On Saturday (10/21), myself and my friends attended Gracie's around 1am. We each paid a $10 cover fee for the live music, and about half of us purchased drinks up at the bar as soon as we arrived, while the rest (many of us weren't drinking) got a table at the back of the bar. About 45 minutes in, a waitress (Kylie?) came over to our table asking if we wanted to order drinks, at which time my partner was asking her what they had on tap. Our waitress noticed that my partner had a small unopened bottle of Fireball on the table that he was mindlessly passing between his hands and she quite rudely told him to either drink it or get out. While our table and my partner apologized for this as we weren't there to cause any trouble (mind you, my partner just had it on the table and wasn't drinking it - it was just in his hoodie pocket the whole night), we were surprised at her reaction and that the only options given to were to leave or drink it, not to throw it out. I imagine a waitress with a pro-serve wouldn't just request that someone have to finish their drink. Again, we all know better and were very apologetic for this even happening in the first place. My partner drank what was left in the bottle (about two shots worth) and then we thought that would be it after apologizing. When our waitress asked if my partner wanted his beer, he told her that he had actually changed his mind and didn't want to order a beer. This seemed to really anger her. After this, our waitress just escalated the matter. She was yelling at our table about how we "always bring stuff in" with us and then not order anything which was odd considering this was most of our group's second time being there, and one of my friends pointed out that it was her first time even being there and that Kylie was really escalating the matter... Maybe she had us confused with another group that does this?? She proceeded to yell at us for not ordering drinks when over half of our table already had at that point. No matter what we said to try and apologize or de-escalate the situation, our waitress would not stop hounding our table and just walk away. Again, half of our table was sober or slightly buzzed and not looking for trouble. We were minding our business at the back of the bar listening to live music and talking amongst ourselves. After a couple of minutes of this exchange, my brother pointed out that she was harassing us at this point, at which time she motioned for our entire table to leave. The whole situation was concerning, unreasonable, and it was clear that Kylie was under the influence herself. The woman taking our cover fee at the door (Heather) was also clearly drunk, not checking IDs upon entry, and when we expressed our frustration at having collectively spent over $200 just to be kicked out for something minor, she told us that Gracie Jane told them to treat us this way... I don't think anyone in hospitality should be trained to drink while on shift or yell at or harass their patrons. We took full responsibility for my partner bringing outside alcohol into the bar; we did not then deserve to be yelled at and harassed at our table until she finally chose to kick us out. We rightfully defended ourselves and asked her to leave our table when she kept escalating. From my vantage point, it looked like Kylie was looking for a fight or a moment of control. This was very concerning. I hope they get better staff onboard, until which time I will not be back.
