“Wow! Great food and great service. We had one of the platters and it was very good. Lots of variety and it was very tender and flavourful. The staff was super friendly, answered all of our questions and made some really great recommendations. Portion sizes were very big and the platter was a great size for our party size and we had a good amount of left overs. Definitely recommend this location and we will be back.“

“Located off of Whytes Road, this place is serving up some delicious local meats, from brisket, ribs, pulled pork, etc they've got it all.
Their brisket was tender and flavorful.
The pork ribs were smokey, and crispy on the outside but tender on the inside.
We order a side of Mac and cheese and two large pickles. Both a great side dish that complement the meats.
Service was superb, friendly and efficient!
Perfect place if you're feeling carnivorous!“

“The meat platter was extraordinary. The highlight was the brisket. Loved the ribs, lamb, chicken and sausage. The service was very good. The chef visited our table. The establishment is bright and clean. Very inviting. We would highly recommend it to everyone!!“

“IMAGINE THIS. Tasty BBQ is indeed, unscrupulously, indubitably, and definitely tasty. Who would have thought that the literary meaning of the title of this restaurant has the ability to accurately portray the descriptive nature of the food the restaurant serves to its client base. The bbq pork was definitely fire, just like literally every single bbq place in this area, they are all very good which is crazy because consistency between a non-continuous and presumably unrelated slew of restaurants is impressive in and of itself. “We’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Smoke ‘N Spudz a couple times. We have hosted large competitive swim competitions in Edmonton, feeding over 150 volunteers and they’ve consistently delivered on all fronts. Their customer service is nothing short of excellent — professional, friendly, and always reliable. And the food? Absolutely incredible. The aroma of smoked meat fills the air and draws everyone in — it’s easily one of the biggest hits at our events! Our volunteers and coaches all rave about it. We’ll definitely keep working with Smoke ‘N Spudz again and again. Highly recommended!“

“I was looking for something not too expensive and that would fill me up and DoorDash suggested The Barbeque House. For the price and the amount of food I got from the Super Combo it was so delicious wish I ordered more. I’m definitely ordering here again. My only suggestion would be add a drink menu on DoorDash otherwise 10 out of 10. Thank you.“

“I picked up the $20 bbq meat special for downtown dining week which included your choice of 4 types of meat. I choose bbq pork x 2, roast pork and chicken. My favourite was the bbq pork…it was delicious! The lady working was very pleasant and served up a healthy amount of freshly cut bbq meat. I work downtown and will definitely be stopping here to pick up food more often!“

“Such an enjoyable experience, highly recommend this restaurant, starting with the hostess, so welcoming and catered to our requests. Waiter was so knowledgeable and had the best suggestions, to many to list. Drinks were amazing, Bartender was full of energy and was fantastic with his customers. The Food, Outstanding! The cornbread, bacon wrapped dates & ribs we honestly to die for.. the ribs cooked to perfection. Great job to all & thanks for a positive experience. Can’t wait for our next visit ??“

“Me and my best friend came here to eat yesterday, everything tasted amazing and we were so full, the service is really top notch (panda was an awesome sever) really recommend their pork back bone stew it made my evening it was so flavourful, my bestie really enjoyed their sweet n spicy chicken in her words “just 10/10”. “Purchased some BBQ pork from this place which is a shared store with Nhon Hoa 2. Very tasty and I really appreciated that they had a small plastic bag of sauce on the side because most places just pours the sauce on top of the BBQ pork and most of it end spilling out.
Service was top notch! Very friendly and thankful for the business which is very refreshing.
Sadly, the location is annoying because of all the druggies around :(“

“This is a wonderful place to enjoy authentic and delicious Swahili food. The manager truly values his customers and provides excellent service. Even though part of my order was missed on a busy night—which is completely understandable—the way they handled it was outstanding. “Full marks for the setting, ambience, and the gluten friendly( in my opinion) ginger beef rice bowl, Hit The Deck IPA, raspberry daiquiri(when their blender isnt broken) and the service(although can be slow on occasion).A pleasant establishment and patio.We shall definitely return.Well done to all concerned. “Absolutely delicious! BBQ KING CITY is a hidden gem in Edmonton. The meats are always tender and flavorful, especially the marinated squid and BBQ duck—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Every time I visit, the food is consistently great:) Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Chinese BBQ!“
