“I was looking for something not too expensive and that would fill me up and DoorDash suggested The Barbeque House. For the price and the amount of food I got from the Super Combo it was so delicious wish I ordered more. I’m definitely ordering here again. My only suggestion would be add a drink menu on DoorDash otherwise 10 out of 10. Thank you.“

“The meat platter was extraordinary. The highlight was the brisket. Loved the ribs, lamb, chicken and sausage. The service was very good. The chef visited our table. The establishment is bright and clean. Very inviting. We would highly recommend it to everyone!!“

Who would have thought that the literary meaning of the title of this restaurant has the ability to accurately portray the descriptive nature of the food the restaurant serves to its client base. The bbq pork was definitely fire, just like literally every single bbq place in this area, they are all very good which is crazy because consistency between a non-continuous and presumably unrelated slew of restaurants is impressive in and of itself. “We had Smokehouse BBQ serve at our school fundraiser, and they were absolutely fantastic! Not only was the dinner delicious—seriously, some of the best BBQ we've had—but their team went above and beyond to make the event a success. When a couple of our other food trucks canceled last minute, they stepped up without hesitation and even went out to grab more product to ensure everyone was fed. Their professionalism, flexibility, and incredible food made a huge difference, and we’re so grateful for their support. Highly recommend them for any event!“

“We ate here last night and tried their lamb shank (haniid) & beef cubes (beef suqaar) and we were very impressed with the flavours and tenderness of the meats. Their mango lassi was great as well. Weren't able to take a pictures due to excitement and we demolished our plates so quickly. Definitely a hidden gem. We will be back for sure!“

“I picked up the $20 bbq meat special for downtown dining week which included your choice of 4 types of meat. I choose bbq pork x 2, roast pork and chicken. My favourite was the bbq pork…it was delicious! The lady working was very pleasant and served up a healthy amount of freshly cut bbq meat. I work downtown and will definitely be stopping here to pick up food more often!“

“Such an enjoyable experience, highly recommend this restaurant, starting with the hostess, so welcoming and catered to our requests. Waiter was so knowledgeable and had the best suggestions, to many to list. Drinks were amazing, Bartender was full of energy and was fantastic with his customers. The Food, Outstanding! “I’ve been here 3 times within 1.5 month because I love the Katsu as it is always fresh and crisp. The restaurant owner was very nice and her crews also very friendly. Today I tried the chicken instead of pork and it was very delicious too. You can have 1 time refill on the salad and soup that is so great. Worth your dollars and they also have buckwheat noodles that fits the summer weather to cool your off from the heat. Will keep visiting 👍🏻“

“Purchased some BBQ pork from this place which is a shared store with Nhon Hoa 2. Very tasty and I really appreciated that they had a small plastic bag of sauce on the side because most places just pours the sauce on top of the BBQ pork and most of it end spilling out.
Service was top notch! Very friendly and thankful for the business which is very refreshing.
Sadly, the location is annoying because of all the druggies around :(“

“Absolutely delicious! BBQ KING CITY is a hidden gem in Edmonton. The meats are always tender and flavorful, especially the marinated squid and BBQ duck—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff are friendly and efficient. “🍜 Some places surprise you… and then there are places like Tats Sushi that make you want to come back the next day.
We had an amazing experience. This spot absolutely deserves more attention.
First of all — the ramen is incredible. The portion is huge, the broth is rich and deeply flavorful, and you can tell it’s been simmered properly. The noodles have the perfect texture, and the meat is tender and packed with flavor. Every spoonful feels comforting and satisfying.
And the sushi is just as impressive. The fish is incredibly fresh and delicate, and the rice is done exactly right. Everything tastes balanced and clean, the way great sushi should.
Another thing that surprised us — the price. For the quality and portion sizes you get, it’s honestly amazing value.

“Wow! Great food and great service. We had one of the platters and it was very good. Lots of variety and it was very tender and flavourful. The staff was super friendly, answered all of our questions and made some really great recommendations. Portion sizes were very big and the platter was a great size for our party size and we had a good amount of left overs. Definitely recommend this location and we will be back.“
