“Never been there in person but I’ve been ordering bulgogi rice from there on Uber eats like 5-6 times already and it’s honestly my favorite food ever. If I could choose 1 food to eat for the rest of my life it would definitely be this 😭“

“The team was exceptional! Every single person was so attentive and anticipated our needs before we even realized we had them! One of the best dinners we've had in a while. 10000/10 would recommend! The AYCE options were premium and included items like cheese corn and LA galbi.“

“Best Korean-Chinese restaurant!
My favorite dishes are Jjampong(spicy) and Xo friend rice, and my husband's favorite is Jjajang myun. We also like to order Tang su yuk! Big portions 🙏. They dont skimp on ingredients!
Owners are very kind and they remember you and what you normally order! This place is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm craving some Korean food!“

“We visited this Korean restaurant for dinner on July 10. The restaurant has a dimly lit atmosphere, and the walls are decorated with customers' artwork, which made for a unique and interesting dining experience.
We ordered the Bulgogi Pizza and the Bulgogi Meal. The bulgogi in both dishes was perfectly cooked (tender, flavorful, and delicious). The Bulgogi Meal was a bit spicier than the pizza. If I visit again, I would order the 6 slices per person instead of the full 12-inch pizza.
The tables are made of wood, and some dirt trapped in the gaps between the planks can be a little off-putting. However, it didn't affect our dining experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming.“

“I visited Pocha with my Canadian colleagues who were new to Korean food culture and wanted to try Korean cuisine. Pocha had a variety of dishes on their menu and the food was good for the first-time Korean food eaters. I may not visit with my Korean friends, but will take my non-Korean friends to Pocha. Overall experience was satisfactory.“

“The food is delicious and packed with flavour. Must try the chicken bites and the corn dogs! Some days they have specials so keep an eye out. I’ve been going to this location and never had issues.
However the last time I went, the service wasnt great, the cashier was rude and unprofessional.
I will definitely be returning to gangnam but I hope the attitude changes“

“I’ve been here 3 times within 1.5 month because I love the Katsu as it is always fresh and crisp. The restaurant owner was very nice and her crews also very friendly. Today I tried the chicken instead of pork and it was very delicious too. You can have 1 time refill on the salad and soup that is so great. Worth your dollars and they also have buckwheat noodles that fits the summer weather to cool your off from the heat. Will keep visiting 👍🏻“

“I visited this restaurant with a friend from out of town on a Thursday afternoon. She recommended it because she is Korean Canadian. Apparently, the soup dishes are very popular at this restaurant.
I ordered a hot stone bibimbap, and she ordered a pork bone soup. After about a 15-minute wait, our dishes finally arrived, but the server mixed up my order and served me a soup instead of the bibimbap.
After another 15 minutes of waiting, my food finally arrived. Both dishes were quite delicious, but the mix-up dampened the experience. The server didn't apologize or say anything to me.“

“Chosun Korean in Hub Mall at the University of Alberta is one of my go-to lunch spots on campus. The food is consistently excellent and reasonably priced. I usually order the bibimbap, which comes with bulgogi beef, rice, plenty of vegetables, egg, and seaweed—fresh, filling, and very well balanced. The bulgogi beef on its own is also one of my favorites.
They offer a happy-hour–style deal in the afternoon (around 2 p.m.), with about $1 off select dishes, including bulgogi options. For the quality and portion size, the price is very fair, around $15 for a satisfying meal.
The seating area itself is not ideal for dining in since it’s located downstairs, but the food travels well and can easily be taken anywhere in Hub Mall or around the university. The mall is bright and comfortable, which makes takeout convenient.
Highly recommended for a reliable, affordable, and tasty Korean lunch on campus.“
“The rice cakes are delicious! We got the ones used for tteok-bokki! They were so fresh and were the perfect texture. The service was excellent. The woman running the front was so kind and helpful which I very much appreciated! We will definitely go here again.“

“definitely me and my mom’s go-to place whenever we’re craving Korean food. The food is always so good — the meat is tender, the soup is super tasty, and the prices are just right for the quality you get.
One of the things I love is that there’s almost never a wait, so we can just walk in and enjoy a nice meal without the hassle. The owner is amazing too — always smiling and making you feel welcome. The service here honestly makes the whole experience even better.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great food and friendly vibes, I highly recommend giving Jung Korean Restaurant a try. It’s definitely worth it!“
“Welcome to Hazeldean! From the decor, to the lattes, to the food, to the staff, everything was fantastic during my visit. A high-end coffee was exactly what our little community needed, adding to the other wonderful local businesses we have in the area. Looking forward to many more breakfasts and brunches in the future.“

“Absolutely loved this place! The chicken was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The flavor was on point, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The spot was clean and had a great vibe.
A special shoutout to our waiter, Lennon, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He made us feel comfortable right away and provided excellent service throughout.
Definitely one of the best chicken spots I’ve tried highly recommend to anyone craving good quality fried chicken!“

“Book club met today at Sushi Cafe Madang and it couldn’t have been a better spot. Great food, genuinely kind staff, and a space that makes you want to stay and talk a little longer. And yes, I left with a big container of kimchi, which felt like a bonus prize. Already looking forward to the next visit!“

“I absolutely love this place!
I come here when I want to get my fill of salmon sashimi. Everything else is pretty great too. Only thing I have to say is the grills are a little on the cold side. My meat ends up getting not a crispy texture. It is almost like boiled or steamed lol Anyways still tasty! I understand maybe they can't have the grill to hot because of smoke.
I have been here numerous times and have always enjoyed coming in. Keep up the good work!“

“This place is bad. long ques and you cant skip to the food you want. one has to stand in this long line and move as it moves and the food is not even all that and very limited. If you eventually get to the food and the buckets are empty you have to move along otherwise you holding up the line. This must be the worst buffet place in Cape Town and the toilets are disgusting.“

“I ordered food via Ubereats and asked them to put chili powder in my soup and chicken, and they did. My ramen's too hot I think it cleared up all of the blockages in my nose lol.

“I have been going to bulgogi house for years! I always tell people don't judge it based on the looks but they have now renovated inside! The food has always been excellent. It has been at least a couple years since I have been back, and I was pleasantly surprised that the food is just as good as before. I had the LA Galbi (BBQ short rib) and Goondak (BBQ chicken) - SO good! My only complaint was my ginseng tea was only one small cup, which I feel is very little for the cost. In the past I remember them giving a teapot but that may have changed now or perhaps just for the ginseng tea, not sure!! Anyways, I would recommend checking them out!“

“Ate here this evening. Food was amazing however the waiter was outstanding. Went above and beyond to accommodate our granddaughter. He thought the chicken might be too spicy so he brought her a small portion of non spicy chicken. He gave great suggestions for what to eat. If you want a family friendly restaurant eat here.“

“We live in the sticks and my husband had to go to the city today and picked this up on his way home. He stored it in the fridge until dinner and reheated the chicken. The best and freshest salad, we tried the curried fried chicken (amazing) and I had my first real corn fritter! Highly recommend!“

“It was my daughter's request to eat here for her birthday dinner. I'm southern, so I'm familiar with fried chicken and corn dogs. The fried chicken was excellent as well as the corn dogs. Had a coconut drink of some sort and it was delicious. Definitely will eat here again.“

“Excellent food and service. I've only had the pho and salad wraps and therefore can't recommend them enough. The peanut sauce is divine, the broth is solid and portions are appropriate. Never left hungry.
Highly recommended“

“IL Poom is one of the best Korean restaurants we’ve tried in Edmonton! Every dish was fresh, authentic, and beautifully prepared. The seafood pancake was outstanding—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and generously filled with shrimp, squid, and green onions. It was one of the best we’ve had.
The kimchi tofu stew was piping hot with a rich, flavorful broth, silky tofu, and just the right amount of spice. The sizzling beef bulgogi was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. We also loved the complimentary side dishes—they were fresh, delicious, and refilled without hesitation.
The restaurant is clean, cozy, and welcoming, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. Great food, generous portions, and excellent value. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend IL Poom to anyone looking for authentic Korean cuisine in Edmonton!“
