“Came to get some sushi while on my break at my job, the cashier noticed I was tired and ask if I was having a long day (I definitely was LOL), as he finished up making my sushi he also gave me a free small bowl of miso soup saying “hope this makes your night a little better” ❤️ not only was the food amazing but truly lifted my spirits to have a stranger show so much kindness ☺️“

“Checked this place out for the first time and we weren't disappointed! All of our sushi was fresh, well presented and reasonably priced. The miso soup was piping hot and very tasty. The unagi roll was one of our favs, and with 4 huge rolls, the 2 of us left stuffed to the brim with delicious sushi, our bill was ~$50. The servers were all friendly and helpful, so glad we stopped in!“

Foods are fresh, and good.
But I won't say it's good portion but enough, because a lot of rice.

The rice a bit hard, maybe I like a bit softer.

“What a great find! Sushi was yummy, fresh and fast. I have celiac disease and our server was knowledgeable and let me know what was safe and not safe to eat. They have gluten free soya sauce too. It was a pleasure dining at I Love Sushi and definitely will dine there again.“

“Great sushi situation in a house. Their rolls and bulgogi dishes were great. Their sushi is also good with huge portions of sushi. Their dynamic roll was a bit too spicy for me so next time I’ll ask for the spicy mayo to be on the side. They recommended we get the platter next time as it is more economical. Highly recommend. They have a large patio/outside space that would be lovely in the summer.“

“I’ve been ordering from feng Donburi all summer and I have to say not only is the food amazing - I’m highly impressed with their service. Our order accidentally got mixed up with another customers and I called to let the restaurant know. I assumed they would just say to make a complaint to Uber and we would get a refund (this is what another restaurant had told me to do when I received the wrong order in the past) but instead they put the order through again and had the food delivered to us right away. We got our original order plus they let us keep the food that was delivered by mistake.

Their food is also top notch. I’d highly recommend the fried Jalapeno spicy tuna, seared salmon sunrise, garlic shrimp Donburi, baked mussels, Chop chop, ikura sushi, curry chicken katsu, roast beef Donburi and the creamy miso salmon Donburi. My family has literally ordered all these things once a week for the past 2 months and it hits the spot every single time.

Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in Edmonton and especially on this side of the city. Highly recommend.“

“Where do i start? This was my first time here with my mom and we were blown away! Beautiful little restaurant, this place is a GEM! It was packed for a Wednesday, but the service was consistent and incredible! The tables have extra napkins and there's a nice container with some wooden chopsticks. Your food is served on little wooden boards which was awesome! The wasabi looked like it was in the shape of a flower. The details at this place are amazing . Alot of severers and all of them were so sweet and attentive . I love the tiny portions here, it lets you trt everything on the menu without getting stuffed on rice! The sashimi is small and thin, which is just perfect. Most of the items you get only 2 pieces, you get little rice and its great! Most ayce places give you so much rice with your rolls and the portions are huge. Everything here is delicate and balanced. The beef tatayki was my favorite! Three strips of deliciousness . It makes you order more! I really enjoyed getting my sushi in controlled portions. Because of this me and my mom ate alot. We tried the toro which was extra, but it was melt in your mouth. Theres also an option here to get raw food to cook on a stone! We didnt do that, but you can get fish, shrimp, mussels and steak! You cook it right at your table . Most of the food we had melted in our mouths. What i really enjoyed was that we got everything in all our orders. We didn't have to repeat any items like we do at other sushi places. 10/10, sushi toshi is our favorite place now!!“

“I am a vegetarian (no fish), and love the limited options that Tokyo Noodle House has to offer. All of their maki rolls are always made with fresh ingredients and taste amazing.

Their vegetable tempura is absolutely incredible, and my meat eating partner loves their Katsudon and would rate it as a 9/10 or 10/10 on his comfort foods list.

Although it cannot be compared to Japan's high-end omakase, the neta (fish) was very good and fresh, and I especially liked the rice grains that were soft and smooth in the mouth when eaten. I had salmon belly and tuna belly sushi, and it was oily and quite delicious. The rice was so delicious that I ordered it again, and the egg sushi I ate last took away the remaining taste in my mouth and was very refreshing. I finished the meal with the special Yuju Sorbet and finished the meal with great satisfaction. I plan to come back soon for my mom's birthday.“

“Pretty decent sushi for something quick for on-the-go! Grabbed a small pack while running errands during lunchtime and they had a good selection to chose from. It was "fresh" considering it's take out sushi already pre-packaged and pricing was decent“

“Service and food is alway excellent. Our family favorites are the Lava Lava roll, chop chop maki, salmon maki (kids can't get enough of the salmon). Our favorite Japanese restaurant in the city.“

“Eat here regularly, always good food and good value, and have never had a bad experience. The Bento box B is my favorite, love having a pot of tea with my meal especially on cold days.

Vegetarian options: I love the yam tempura. Easy to order a veg. meal

Parking: big parking lot I have never seen it full.
