“I had an absolutely amazing experience at Kilimanjaro VIP in Edmonton! This East African restaurant is a hidden gem. The highlight of my meal was definitely the Babalowa Plate—it’s bursting with flavors and truly a must-try! The coconut beans and rice are to die for, so creamy and perfectly seasoned. On top of the incredible food, the owner is super kind and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even more special. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of their delicious menu. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic East African cuisine!“

“Had a great meal with my coworkers here this morning. Despite being the only server, and having several other groups to attend to, our server kept up and our food was great.
Great breakfast options with lots of variety. I would budget 20-25$ per person. Highly recommend but make reservations if you have a group to help them allow for more staff.“

“Jade makes this place the only place I want to go! Every second Saturday sometimes more we go for breakfast right at 8am and she knows our drinks and our meat lovers skillets! She is so friendly and the food is always done fast. We catch Jade singing and laughing and just being amazing. Thank you for this place we can be regulars and feel welcomed!!“

“Incredible food and went on a Wednesday, all you can eat fries and fish! The fish is incredible would have more but I need to head out but I will remember to come to Smittys and not the Dennys across the street; which got a less than favorable review from me due to them not even giving me water or taking my order for a long time. Smittys staff did such a good job in comparison that I would make sure to come back on Wednesdays cause wow this fish is delish!“

“I dined in during their slow hour and ordered a veal cutlet with mashed potatoes smothered in gravy and vegetables. For the price point, it was worth it. The taste quality is reminiscent of an old diner yet the portions are smaller than your average Boston Pizza across the parking lot. I can't say too much about the staff here as their English speaking capability and comprehension was somewhat basic but they managed to guide me through their week deals.

They have a steal of a deal with the fish and chips for $10 dine in and online order (don't know how long it will last, so get it while it's hot); the batter isn't beer based but it has just enough crunch, fluff, and oil and the fries aren't over salted or dripping in oil, either; they also have an 'all-you-can-eat fish and chip day' too for a flat rate price of under $20. A local gem for budget eaters who aren't looking to over stuff themselves (breakfast or lunch time) and want to do a bit of shopping without too many people sitting around.“
