“Originally reserved a table for 12 last Saturday evening for a friends and family get-together to celebrate my wife birthday. Group size grew from 12 to 16, then to 18 the day-of. Management and staff were absolutely fantastic. They accommodated every one of our needs and did so without hesitation. They offered us a private room for our group and ensured we had everything we needed to make the evening special for my wife. All enjoyed delicious food and drink served to us by a caring, attentive, and clearly expert server Michelle, who pulled out all the stops to ensure we were all happy and satisfied!

“During the Snowflake Festival last night, I picked up a pizza for take out from Dj’s. It was obviously a busy night and I had to wait a bit longer than quoted for my order, which was completely understandable. The staff member that took my order, communicated multiple times with me about the status. She felt bad for our wait and discounted my pizza which was so unexpected! I worked in a pizza restaurant for over 10 years and I was so touched by the kindness and compassion of the staff here! The service was perfectly complemented by my absolutely delicious pizza. This place is a 10!“

“Always an incredible experience at Riverbank. From the host to the servers and the ambience and the selection of food and cocktails. The schnitzel is my fave and I can’t seem to order anything else as soon as I start thinking about it, luckily my wife loves me enough to share a bit of what she orders.“

“Just went to Sorrentino's for my husband's birthday. We were greeted warmly and led to a nice table for two. Brooklyn was our server and she looked after us very well! The beef carpaccio we shared was delicious! We each then tried one of their yummy pasta dishes! To end the night they treated my husband to a tasty birthday dessert! Thank you very much! “My mom and I went for supper on Thursday after spending the entire day at the hospital with a family member. Our waitress was absolutely exceptional. We returned again on Friday and were lucky to have the same waitress—once again, she went above and beyond. She generously comped our mocktails and even gave us a $20 gift card in case we needed to come back again. During such a stressful and emotional time, her kindness and compassion meant more than she’ll ever know. Being rushed to the city for a hospitalized family member is overwhelming, and this level of thoughtfulness was truly unexpected and deeply appreciated.“

The venue is beautiful and has great vibes, their prices and value are really good, and I would come back here again for another event (or just for a drink and some food!)

“Lovely little gem in Edmonton close to Kingsway mall. Newly renovated and reasonably priced menu. Service was impressive and love how dedicated the staff are to the care and safety of their patrons. Would recommend if you are thinking of a good place for wing night or to grab a pint.“

“First time there. It was ok. Very bland food. We couldn't eat the beef because it was so tough and the ribs were very dry. Not a huge selection but ok. We were only asked if we wanted coffee or water so we assumed they weren't serving alcohol. It turns out they were. It was a bit of a disappointment as it was Valentine's Day.“

“This has been one of my favourite restaurants for a long time. Dinning in is always wonderful, but anytime I order delivery this is always my top choice. I already have them a great review on Google, but once again the management team never disappoints! From time to time people make mistakes, that’s life. But when the restaurant goes above and beyond to make it right is a fading thing it seems, but not with JOEY mayfield common!! Twice now the management team has corrected the mistakes and offered great compensation for so. Like one of my favourite things when I order is that they throw in a free brownie. They missed it this one time and I called and she corrected on my next order. Thank you sooo much, the brownies are to die for 😍… you definitely hooked me up on this order too. Made me giggle 🤭. “Always a solid choice. I’ve been here several times now for business lunches, dinners with family, and just casual drinks and it’s consistently good. Stopped in the other night with my colleague for a drink. Rose was looking after us, as she has before, and she was excellent as usual. The bartender with the bow in her hair (didn’t catch her name) mixed us a couple of margaritas that were spot on. Normally I go for their happy hour wine special, but we switched it up this time and I’m glad we did. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.“

“My favorite go to when I’m in the city. This place has been my home away from home for a few years! Jenn has always made me feel welcome. Actually I give kudos to all the staff who work at FLH. As there’s been some sketchy people who have come by and the staff has always dealt accordingly. From experience I must say I love this place. The best cocktails served by some upscale servers. Those of us who have become regulars do so because we enjoy quality service :)“

“All the staff at this hotel greeted you with happy, friendly smiles. I stayed for a couple of days and some even knew my face, it was so pleasant. The décor and royal colours made me feel so calm in the hallways, and the outdoor spaces. The staff and the building really generated a very classy atmosphere that I know everyone would love. “We had our wedding here on Monday April 17th , I would 14/10 recommend this as a venue for any bride! We had both ceremony & reception here and it was absolutely stunning the staff are incredible & SO MUCH FUN! Josh was the bees knees he helped with absolutely everything weeks prior to the wedding & during he made our day flawless!!! The meal was incredible drinks made top notch & FAST! Well lets start off by the warm welcome you receive once you are at your table, the staff here are friendly and outgoing, if you dont know what you like to have to eat they will recommend something for you , they daily specials and trust me you do wanna try their burgers they are the best and over all voted best in the city, Each weekend they host karaoke with your host Jamie Delaney and he knows how to put on a show and you never leave disappointed. When it comes to waitress here we have one that her smile brightens the atmosphere and she does an amazing job her name is DELANEY always makes you feel welcomed and I would recommend if you are in and about on the weekends stop by say hello try a burger or their specials they offer each day and weekends. “Went for the Kingpin Bowling for an hour with the family. 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. The bowling itself was a lot of fun! The shorter lane, light bowling balls and short lane's made it a better experience for the kids that they really enjoyed. What the adults didn't enjoy was being made to feel like we were being an inconvenience by the staff for being there. Our timeslot was 12:00pm to 1:00pm (reserved online) and when we arrived at 11:50am to get setup, we were treated rudely and made to feel like we were being a inconvenience for being there. We went downstairs to the mall for 10 min and when we came back at exactly 12:00pm, there was a lineup and we weren't able to start bowling until 12:15pm. All in all, go for the bowling, not for the customer service.“

“My time spent at Dockside pub and Grill has been among the best and most personally enlightening times of my entire life. Friendships and bonds were made that can never be broken and I learned a heap of information about both myself and how people actually feel about me. All I can say is, not necessarily in order, that Dockside's Commodore, ship's and fleet's commander, is a hard but fair man, and I will cherish the great times and mourn sorrows for years to come over tears and joy shared and to be shared. Staff, they come, they go, but all leave either their mark or mistakes, myself included. If I were susceptible to dementia, I do not believe, for a minute, that I would forget the lessons or the heartbreak or joy felt and learned during my tenure at this awesome, place where we welcomed everyone that could behave appropriately in society, and some that needed a little guidance, too. hahahaha!! I guess that Dockside will always be a place that the yard arms and cannons will always favor those out to either have a good time or encourage light in expression of great music, great food, great fields for growing relationships and, alas, ending them. Thank you, Dockside Pub and Grill, for both the best and informative years of my life. To Dockside staff, to those of you that know and love me for who I am, I am grateful, and love is returned.to those, just the same. To those that simply aren't Dockside material, maybe you should find a new vocation, perhaps in a trade such as wiring and fixing stator and rotors: Not mentioning any names or their approximate, spotty, unattractive, frozen veggies IQ boyfriend. Anyways, If I never were a part of this completely underrated, horribly underestimated, beautifully, and surprisingly inclusive gem of a place to feel welcomed, I feel that I could only say that if I am away from home, Dockside Pub and Grill is where I find comfort. Thank you Darrell, thank you Dockside Pub and Grill, for everything. BTW, shout out to the cooks and to the Door staff. “Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. We were close to west edmonton mall and many restaurants which is what we wanted. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room as we had leftovers from 1 meal that could have been reheated.“

“First time staying at the Best Western City Center to be close to the Royal Alexander because we are having a baby this weekend. We decided to have a night in and went to the restaurant at the hotel. Our food was amazing! I have not been able to enjoy food too much lately (pregnant hormones I’m sure) and this was the first time I am full and completely satisfied in a while eating out. The service was also amazing and the restaurant is so clean and great friendly atmosphere. I would come here even if not saying at the hotel.“

“I went there with my friends for late dinner, our sever Mark was super sweet, he gave some great drinks suggestions, and went out of his way to accommodate our rather complicated needs. The food was fantastic, best TomahawkI have had in years cooked to perfection, and the pecan pie was perfect with ice cream. One my favorite steakhouses in the city, I will be going there again for sure. 5 stars all the way.“

“The atmosphere is neat and service is wonderful. The food is pretty good (the mac and cheese and Sandwich with ham and mustard is good) but, the food at regular price is very expensive, especially on a student budget. Still, if you want to enjoy events such as trivia, kereoke, and a pool table, you only need to spend 5$ for a small food item or drink on the happy hour menu and then just stick around to enjoy the atmosphere. I also think it's great that the place creates convenient-to-reach jobs on campus for students who may need extra money during the semester.“
