Macarons near St. Albert, AB

“My wife and I just moved to St. Albert and were wandering around the downtown on a sleepy Sunday morning and decided to pop in to check out this lovely cafe. We greeted by the friendly staff and had a hard time choosing from the beautiful and varied desert display. Instead, we decided to have brunch after seeing the excellent quality of the treats.

The cafe is beautifully decorated, quaint and stylish with its French style. I checked out the attached high tea room and it was adorable as well. We will have to come back when my aunt visits us next month, as she will love it. The shop reminded us of Paris and the cakes and macarons in the fridge were stunning and looked of high quality.

The brunch turned out to be a great choice. I had the Arctic crepes and they were savoury, but not too rich with its hollandaise, smoke salmon, dill and briny capers. The chai latte was delicious as well. My wife had the salad and spinach and salmon quiche which was flaky and tasty. She loved my crepes, though and she would definitely have them next time.

We will definitely be back to try more at this lovely cafe! A very special experience.“
