“TikTok made us try it, and I have to say it was amazing! We went for a date night and came home to tell the extended family that we need to all go there again. We had the platter for 2, and it definitely could easily feed three! Pretty sure we have enough leftover for both of us for tomorrow. I don’t think there was a single item we would say we didn’t enjoy. The complimentary tea was a nice added touch. A true hidden gem in YEG! I almost want to gate keep on this place, but they deserve the praise. Service was timely and stellar. Tables are spacious.“

“We had the dining on Stiny plain Rd menu It was great! We had Houli cheese wrapped with ehh plant and the wagyu meatballs for appetizers, the main course we both had the braised short rib pasta, delicious! Baklava for dessert which we took home so we could try the Marscapone cheesecake with chocolate ganache. Excellent choice! Service was excellent and a great wine selection as well“

I'm not sure if it's Lebanese, Syrian, or something else, but everything was delicious, especially the kippe (spelled a different way on this menu)--a type of crispy meatball (crisp on the outside because it's made partly with bulgar). “We went here before our concert at the Winspear Center. The Oil Lamp is run by the cutest elderly couple. The food is amazing, and the place has its charm. Nice selection of wines and beers to complement your food. We had the Chicken Souvlaki and the Beef Gyro. The chicken was moist and perfectly done, packed with flavor. The owner also gave us complimentary Hummus and Tatziki dip along with fresh pita as our starters. Definitely recommend it, and we will definitely be back. Gotta try some more of those amazing dishes. Oh, they are also very reasonably priced.“

Dietary restrictions: My husband realized the Burger came with fries when they brought the plate. When he told Rana he can't eat fries she offered to bring him salad. They brought him a lathe portion of Tebbouleh salad.
That was much appreciated by him.

Kid-friendliness: My husband and I have just finished dinner at the Sahara Restaurant in Edmonton. We had a nice dinner. The young lady helping us, Rana, was nice and accommodating.
Jamel was also nice and pleasant.
We had the Tenderloin skewers dish, fries, Smack Burger and Calamari.
We didn't have dessert.
We will certainly come back.
The restaurant has a new menu, as well as new variety of Sushi dishes (which it did not have before)“
