In addition to the delicious food, I want to highlight the excellent customer service provided by Fatih, whose kind smile and warm welcome, along with complimentary tea and baklava, made our experience even more enjoyable. I also want to thank the kind and friendly young woman who took our order. I highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely return to enjoy their delicious food and the respectful, warm hospitality of the staff.“

“I had the Lamb Kebab plate and it was very good. Very few fries and over half of the plate was rice. Thefoos is always great here but little service. There is supposed to be table service but we had to walk to the front to put in our order. We also ordered water 2x before we received it.“

“Came to check it out since the renovation. It looks beautiful! Food was delicious. Reda made us americanos in the new cafe section as well as a crispy kunafa. He also brought us out some Baklava. He is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful!

“The food is spectacular! We had the Waygu meatballs to start, the meatball sauce and eggplant puree were delicious and seasoned so well. For our main course, we shared the Seafood board. Each piece of seafood was cooked beautifully. The octopus was incredibly tender and the best I have ever eaten. The staff(owner included) are very informative, friendly and professional. All menu choices looked amazing. We are looking forward to our next visit to try more items.“

“I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s a must try! I’ve been coming here for a long time, each time I get the shish combo, and their garlic, or the desserts. The food is always exceptional, the prices are fantastic, the meat quality is just cooked to perfection. And best of all the service. Everytime we visit we are greeted with a smile and fantastic employees. Their owner is wonderful too. These local business are so important. And this one is definitely worth a try.“

“In my experience, I really enjoyed my lunch visit today. The wait was slightly longer than I liked but it was the lunch rush. Nonetheless, my Chicken Kebab plate was super delicious and well worth the wait. The salad was addictingly flavourful, even the toum and hummus were top-notch. The rice was perfectly seasoned, chicken was super juicy and right off the grill, and their fresh baked pita was the perfect compliment. Having so many similar spots in the area, Pitabake is an establishment of it's own and the family serves food from the heart.

“An excellent restaurant on the Southside of Edmonton. There is a sit down restaurant area, a takeaway counter and a small middle Eastern grocery section. The store is immaculate and the food is excellent. The place is casual and the staff are not as polished as some places but they are very friendly.

The chicken shawarma wrap was very good. A good ratio of meat to veggies, a delicious sweet sauce and fresh pita. I've tried chicken shawarma in multiple locations and restaurants throughout Edmonton and I would rank this one in the top 3. The platters were generous in portion and tasted great! Fresh bread accomplices the dips. The falafel is perfect, crop on the outside tender interior. You got to try this gem!“
