“We had the dining on Stiny plain Rd menu It was great! We had Houli cheese wrapped with ehh plant and the wagyu meatballs for appetizers, the main course we both had the braised short rib pasta, delicious! Baklava for dessert which we took home so we could try the Marscapone cheesecake with chocolate ganache. Excellent choice! Service was excellent and a great wine selection as well“

“My go to for donair & gyro. They season the bread & grill to crispy perfection. The chicken lemon fennel is so good & hard to find elsewhere. It used to have a reputation for soup nazi level service but has mellowed over the years“

“My husband and I tried the Arabic chicken shawarma platter and it didn’t disappoint! The garlic sauce is so good and light not too garlicky but taste amazing! The owner of the restaurant is so kind and you can tell he cares about his customers!“

“Fresh to order, today I had the philly cheese steak. Pita is baked in house and wrap comes with veggies and beef. Beef was tender and seasoned well along with the veggies. Ratio of pita to toppings was also quite good. I would say it's somewhere between snack sized and meal sized per order.“

“I bought the Chicken & Beef Shawarma on Rocks with pickles and turnips medium heat with extra Beef $30. My wife picked the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, $19.

Delicious food, perfect spice. The wife also bought dessert that she greatly enjoyed a baklava cheese cake. We will order from again. ?“

“Went to Oil Lamp for the first time and decided on lunch on a Saturday. The place was empty at 1:15 PM but that was not too surprising since it was a later lunch time and also the weekend. The server was also the owner and was very friendly and helpful. This is an old school place and has been around for 18 years - the decor hasn’t changed but I liked that.

The lunch specials that we ordered were around $18 each, which was very reasonable as they all came with two sides each. We had the beef gyro and roasted lamb - both were delicious. They also have Greek Mythos bottled beer, which is tasty and something I never tried. The owner was very accommodating of our one year old child and brought a high chair out for us and was very forgiving of the mess that was made below it.

This place is wonderful and we will definitely be back!

“I just had the best experience here! I had visited once before (my neighbour Aunty hooked me up) and loved their zaatar pita. Went back today, bought two delicious varieties of pita and the customer service was astounding! Plus he gave me slice of pizza to try, and now I can say their pizza is delicious too. I don’t know how they make their dough, but it’s so flavourful and soft. Happy family people making delicious food in the community, I love places like this!“
