Food is supposed to be very good but we wouldn’t know! First time we tried to go I got an answering machine that said to leave a message and number and they’d call back. They didn’t! Ever! Second time they said ‘no reservations but get there early’. We went elsewhere as it would have been for later. Third time we arrived early and were asked if we had a reservation and that it would be 45 mins. I explained about being told no reservations and she said that’s for under 4 people. The deck was full but the inside was completely empty. The people in front of us left too and said that was the last time for them too. They called at 2pm to ask if they had halibut and were told yes. They arrived at 4:30 to be told it had sold out. Incredibly disappointed. I will not make the effort again. Campbell River does great salmon and chips! It’s a lot further but you can be guaranteed of getting something.

I have just been told by the owner that I should be ashamed of my review and that my poor planning doesn’t necessitate an emergency. I clearly posted that the food is supposed to be very good. As for poor planning we attempted to plan based on information we were given by staff. 3 times. I would never suggest any meal that I have would be an emergency for goodness sake.

I had the most fabulous experience I loved the food and service in the top 20 +star phenomenal worth the wait for fabulous food I would definitely come again good job ?????? wow I'm so impressed by this wonderful service.

We go here once a year for a fun and yummy pub lunch. It delivers as promised. Great fish and chips and burgers and the prices are reasonable and the service always makes us leave with a smile. Today Joy was the star of the show. She was amazing and made this the best visit ever

Overall very good BUT… the lobster roll is NOT 100% lobster, it contains surimi (fake crab). You can tell by the texture, it has the telltale ‘stripes’. It’s probably about 1/3 surimi. Management should be honest and update the description. It was still very tasty but disappointing. Understandable because no lobster roll is $17. Atmosphere is really charming, the Pirate Caesar is off the charts, great chowder, and rest of the meal was very good so I would return again.

A great place! Beautiful views and wonderful fish and chips. They stop taking orders around 7 so get there early if you want a table. Busy summer staple for a nice meal on a nice pet friendly outdoor patio. 3 entrees and 4 drinks was around $110 including taxes. Great margarita and the pirate Ceasar was a Delicious adventure!

I was disappointed with the food! I ordered halibut and chips, was not impressed with the serving potion at all! My husband usually wants to share our meals, but he said he decided not to try my meal as there wasn't enough for one, never mind sharing.

This place is amazing. Every day is like an episode of kitchen nightmares for them. I watched them open their doors on a Saturday, to 8 tables waiting to be seated. They controlled the pace, and gave everyone great service. The food is delicious, and the girls serving are pros. Husband and wife owners, are the only cooks in the kitchen for all 134 seats. Crazy! Worth the drive!
