We stopped in for dinner on July 11. Although an unassuming frontage and decor we were very pleased with the quality of the food. It was fresh hot delicious! A must try if you are in the Sundre area.
We ordered BBQ pork egg food Yung, it was very tasty with a light accompanied sauce. Beef and broccoli with very fresh, colorful veggies. Chicken chow mein : lots of fine noodles with plenty of chicken tucked underneath. And their absolutely delicious dumplings - 4 orders worth in total. These dumplings have a lighter dough and flavourful filling that makes them absolutely addicting. They even taste delicious cold the next day as left overs. Lol. Nothing fancy. The food is decent and probably the best Chinese you will find in the area. However, it is not as good as other Chinese food I have had for the price. The couple that own it are very friendly and polite. They provided excellent service.
Harvest Heights Restaurant offers tasty and generous portions of food, with their dinner for two being able to feed almost three people. The ginger beef, sweet and sour chicken balls, honey garlic chicken, take-out options like wor wonton, beef chop suey, special fried rice, and special chow mein are highly praised. The new owners have enhanced the dining experience with a hot and fresh buffet, friendly service, and well-designed containers for take-out. Although the restaurant's interior is quite subdued compared to when it was previously known as Harvest Moon, it remains a clean and welcoming space. Parking is limited in the small strip mall, but Harvest Heights Restaurant is becoming a local favorite for Chinese food, especially for those in the Sundre area.
