“Is the food good? Yes. You can tell that a lot of care was put into crafting every dish. Taste-wise there's nothing to complain about and there's something to praise about every aspect of every dish. I wouldn't say it's mind-blowing, but it's definitely above average. The service, by the standards of a small, family-owned restaurant, was also outstanding.

So why the four star review rather than five stars? As many other reviews pointed out, obtaining a reservation at this restaurant is akin to winning the lottery where you've only won by getting through the one single phone reservation line after dozens, if not hundreds of frustrating phone call attempts, before all availability for the season is gone.

During my experience dining in, there was also plenty of seating that was empty. Thus, the restrictive and limited availability for this restaurant were more of a deliberate decision by management for reasons other than the physical limitations of the facility.

So, to summarize, the food was tasty and the service was hospitable. However, the difficulty in obtaining a reservation, especially when the restaurant books out months in advance, will remain as a frustrating experience that one associates with this restaurant. One may argue that the outstanding food and service is worth the hours of frustrations during the reservation process, but I disagree. There are many restaurants elsewhere in the country and around the world at a comparable price point with similar, if not better food and services that does not subject their patrons through the same fickle and grueling reservation process. The food itself, while good, is not Michelin-starred level good. For this reason, I do not see myself returning to this restaurant anytime soon. One can make their own judgment as to whether they are willing to invest a few hours of their life on the phone dialing and redialing along with some of their hair and brain cells for the privilege of patronizing an above average semi-fine dining restaurant.”

The beer is amazing, we spent the night as Harvest Host guests so I was able to taste quite a few 😉 and the were all really good.

“Had one of the best Pizza's ever. The place is one of the best if anyone wants to enjoy authentic Pizza's.
The owner, Mr. Imad (Eddie) is very humble and kind. We ordered a Greek Pizza and their Cheeziest Pizza and they were delicious. Couldn't have been better. We customized the order to be only vegetarian. The pizza was very fresh and just rightly baked. We also ordered vegetarian lasagne which was super good. The lasagne sauce was made in-house and we can taste the freshness.
The owner offered us complimentary drinks, a can of Coke and Sprite, as during our conversation we mentioned its my wife's birthday. This was a very sweet and humble gesture by Mr. Imad.
He also gave us a short tour of his kitchen and the place is very well kept, neat and tidy.
Honestly speaking, we had one of the best dining experience at this restaurant.

And the Pizza here is heavenly 😋 ❤️

Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options on the menu, but most of the pizzas can be customized easily and can be made vegetarian based on one's requirement. It's clearly stated in the restaurant. But the choice of cheese cannot be customized.

Parking: There is free street parking, which is easily available.”

I would love to see in the future not only for this restaurant but all subways a system to divert organic waste from the garbage. It was great to see that there is no more plastic bags given to their customers but more environmentally friendly options like paper bags.

“This location opens at 11am, I placed an order the night before for pickup at 11:15am the next day. The staff were super accommodating, polite and helpful. I arrive a few min early the day of, 8 pizzas were ready right on time and we were offered a free cookie. Staff are awesome at this location. Good job Pizza Hut Black ”

“The new manager has really turned things around there. Wait times are less, service is wayy better, and they are always stalked with all our favorites. They are very involved in the community and always donating swag for kids sports teams, rodeos and more. On top of the manager being very kind he also isn't bad on the eyes. Happy to support them now !”
