So I’m a TikTok fan from Toronto. Your chuckwagon girls got me craving Alberta beef! I made the road trip and stopped in! The food was amazing. Everyone was smiles. Felt right at home. Recommend the beef melt and barley soup!

Albertan food at its finest!

The burger is as much a staple menu item here as the authentic western decor. Serving healthy portions of delicious breakfast items, but you'll want to show up early. This place is busy! For a good reason; great value, tasty food and warm atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out.

Food was good but a bit pricey, atmosphere unique. Service was exceptional which is probably one on the reasons for their popularity!

Love this place. They let us duck in close to closing time. My smoked salmon eggs bennie were pretty good, but my husband's steak sandwich!?!?!!....
OMGOSH. Amazing. I was kicking myself for not ordering the same thing. Next time!
The girls were so sweet and great. We love it there, and tell as many people as we can to visit! Thank you.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and left absolutely thrilled! The prices are very fair, the portions are massive (seriously, come hungry), and most importantly – the food is delicious and high quality. Every bite was pure enjoyment, and you really feel like you’re getting great value for your money. The service was excellent as well, with a friendly and attentive staff. In short, a place worth coming back to!

**Update!**
We stopped in while passing through this weekend, and while the wait time was a bit long (we came during lunch rush, to be expected with a small place like this), we had a great meal and service was awesome.

Breakfast burritos, chicken club, house burger, and beef melt were our picks this time. Everything was great; food was hot and delicious, portions were large (had to take some fries home), and it was definitely worth the detour to eat here.

If you haven't hit this place up while travelling, what are you waiting for?

***Old review below, just left it for continuity.***
I'll start with this:
Masks/proof of vaccination are required for dine-in. I dont want to get into the debate about that whole thing, but that's their requirement.

OK, so the Chuckwagon Cafe showed up on my radar a couple years ago, after being featured on "You Gotta Eat Here" on the Food network.

We were passing through on our way to visit family, and stopped in to check it out. It's a small place with a TON of character and charm. AND THE BEST FREAKIN' BURGER I'VE EVER EATEN.

But seriously, it is the best burger I've had. Super good.. big portions, great quality of food, and reasonable prices. They do all day breakfast as well, but the burgers... OMG.

If you are in that neck of the woods, stop by and grab the House Burger (or the Beef Melt, or the.. you know what, just get anything.. it's all awesome). If the place is packed (and it usually is), you can get it to go, and eat at the picnic tables across the four way stop in the park.
