Parking: Parking is free and often there is a spot in front of the shop.

Kid-friendliness: Small area, without much for kids to get into or wander off. Having the kitchen open may provide a good education moment for your littles.

Wheelchair accessibility: Small shop, but easy access for those of us with mobility issues.“

“I ordered The Breakfast Club with a side of Top Gun Mac and both are absolutely delicious. 5/5 The Gremlin Brownie is definitely rich in dark chocolate flavor. 4/5 The star and my new favorite drink was their Beetlejuice Lemonade 100000/5“

“Nina, the owner was kind enough to set up a special tea party for me and my out of town guest. Her shop has a large selection of loose leaf teas and it was busy in there but she was patient and helped us find something we liked, even offering us a sample of their house tea. The tea sandwiches were flavorful and delicate. The doughnuts were so good!!! There’s so much to see in this little shop and plenty of delicious treats. I will be back!“

“Thanks to Nilda's our daughters birthday was a success! I had to put in a late order- because our party got rescheduled. She was able to get me in last minute. I ordered a chocolate cake with guava- it was so good! Very moist and flavorful. Definitely recommend and will order for future birthdays. 🫶🏻✨️“

Excellent cupcakes, gracious hospitality, blue bird sky day in Anchorage, and a 100th birthday for a woman who gave and gives so much to Alaska. How could it possibly be better than that? “Neat bakery & retail space in Spenard. I come here to get my Franz buttermilk toaster biscuits cuz they are cheaper than other grocery stores if they even have them. It's evil how the aisle where you enter the store is all Donuts! Just daring you to get to the next aisle without grabbing something! Get the reusable shopping bag, it's really big and has a fun animal circus cookie on the bag! Sometimes wish they had a little more variety but then I would just spend more. A nice little weekend stop.“

“I've been getting my birthday cakes from the Flying Dutchman for almost 40 years and I still love them so much. I love the meat rolls a lot too, and the buttery moppen is a favorite. My family gets excited every time I come home with a box of treats. Just delicious.“

They change out there Joe and their case every 30 minutes whether it's sold or not and if you eat it while it's hot it is the best on the planet like anything if you let it cool it loses some flavor but if you eat it well it's hot it is the best.“

“Need a pretzel, this is the place in the dimond center mall. I really like that their cheese is a little bit spicy, it adds a lot, oh, and I need the cheese for the salted pretzels, they just work well together. If you are there just before closing, you can get a good discount pretzel, nice late night treat.“

It's a bit spendy, yes, but it's a gourmet bakery and you get what you pay for. Our daughter got the raspberry chocolate one for her birthday and she said there's no going back to sheet cake. I definitely recommend treating yourself to a slice...I guarantee you'll walk out with a whole cake they're just that incredible!*I also recommend the Mongolian beef combo for a quick lunch, paid $11 but the serving sizes of meat and rice were HUGE, so much so it was more than enough for my lunch and ate the rest for dinner so worked out.“
