8 Best Breakfast Restaurants in Anchorage

“This is a sports bar but they got great menu. Football game was playing on all the tv's all over the restaurant. We ordered salmon blt, steamed mussels, salmon dip with pita and clam chowder. The mussels was great. The salmon blt did not taste that great but it's okay. Salmon dip with capers, onions and tomatoes then smothered on the pita bread was a great combination.
The restaurant was crowded and every one seemed to be enjoying their dinner.“

“It's a dinner style restaurant. I have never had a bad experience or food. The service can be a little slow and sometimes they don't check on your drinks but that's only when they are really busy. They are nice. This is our go to breakfast food restaurant. I hope they have no plans to close this location. They unfortunately closed all the other locations which is strange because they were all popular. The coffee is great. I do miss free pie Wednesday.“

“I was blown away by Middle Way Cafe. I stopped with the intentions of having a quick bite to eat and a spot to do some homework- I had the best Eggs Benedict to date.“

“I cant rave enough about this place. The food is great. This is a frequent stop for me. Anchorage is huge but I prefer to rst here. I love the atmosphere and ALEX is the best. You should be so lucky to meet such a person. She is an amazing server and I have grown to adore her. I go there for comfort food but I cant rave enough about ALEX. All I can say is wow and thank you so so much.“

“Breakfast was included with my Platinum Bonvoy Marriott status. The buffet was good. Bacon strips are well cooked and not too dry. There is a station to get eggs, omelette and waffle made to order. There is some fruits but not that much. I prefer when the bread buffet have more choices of grains cereal bread. Here many white plain bread or beige plain bread (not much grains there...). So only 4 stars because of lack of interesting breads here.“

“Our favorite go-to for treating our grand kids. They love the cup cake pancake amd lemonade. I always find something yummy. This last time it was the huge stuffed omlette. We go here regularly. Staff is always nice and the atmosphere is pleasant.“

“Long story short: Give Dre a raise. Or better yet, give him his own franchise! My family and I were there a couple of weeks ago, and that guy was everywhere, wearing many hats. And despite that, he never complained about it. Was very social but not too social as to disturb us while we were stuffing our faces😁 Food came promptly. Drinks were refilled quickly. Check came without a holler. I think we’ll only come by if Dre’s working. So all these negative reviews probably didn’t get Dre that day. Thanks, Dre!!!“
