Burger King in Anchorage

“Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to the staff working the late shift tonight. We don’t have a car and we’re in the process of moving, but we were craving Burger King after the walk-in lobby was closed. I called ahead and asked if it were possible for us to make the quick walk and pickup at the door, and they made an exception for us even though they usually don’t do that (I wouldn’t ask again or recommend anyone else to ask but we also visit this location a lot especially when we had our car.) food was fresh, hot and delicious and they loaded us up on sauces we requested. Very thankful and appreciative of the staff here they’ve always been very cool and good to us each of the times we’ve visited, especially the male manager when I’d walk over alone with my toddler, he’d help me out a lot with bringing the food to our table/any condiments and watching to make sure weirdos didn’t bother us. Sad to not be able to go to this location anymore.“

“Dont listen to the naysayers. Elmendorf BK spanks the Ft Rich location so hard, you have to feel bad for the folks who work on Richardson side.

10 times out of 11, Elmo BKs staff is professional and responsive. Drive thru is ALWAYS moving at a reasonable pace despite being slammed every lunch time. Food is consistently decent (it’s BK, ok). And order accuracy and delivery time is always great. Seriously: today there were 7 cars ahead of me, the parking lot was full, and they still managed to get me my order within 11 minutes of getting in the drive thru line. AND: the drive thru attendant STILL managed to be upbeat, professional and efficient.

So, basically it’s the exact opposite of the fort richardson BK in EVERY way. It’s no joke. Read my review of the rich BK.

I didnt even have time to halfway finish this review while waiting for my food at the elmo location.

If you are ever stuck on rich side for lunch, PLEASE, avoid that BK at all costs. Do yourself a favor and just drive over here to experience what its like when an on-base eatery doesn’t absolutely hate its customers.“

“Who doesn't like a flame broiled whopper? I'm praying that no one adds this to the same list mcdonalds is on with the meat only 30%beef and finding out other 70% is ground up humans after elite suck the blood out . Pretty sure that's why burger kings burger taste so much better .“

“Honor the posted hours (or don’t post them). Yes there is risk in opening the restaurant doors especially when the building is not ideally staffed. A professional way to manage this is to absorb the risk and not inconvenience customers. Use cameras and have staff call the police if there’s any disturbance or disruption. If you can’t trust staff to do that then what can you trust them to do? Otherwise this is a fine place.“
