“The culinary arts students at UAA have a restaurant where they put their learned knowledge to the test in a restaurant setting called Lucy's.

It was a delicious 3-course lunch with a salad, entree, and a dessert buffet. You get to give feedback to the students afterwards so they can improve.

“I ordered takeout for the “back alley smash burger”, after seeing the home made buns I knew it had to be worth the $17 price tag. And boy oh boy, was it ever! This place is far from the “bearded burger joint/new age stereotype”. Their burger and chips are amazing, all homemade ingredients. I highly HIGHLY recommend you to try out Altruro Bistro, don’t let the pricing scare you away from what the menu has to offer, it’s worth every last penny!!!“

“The fried chicken sandwich is good (but it tasted like fish). I really liked the Boba fizzy soda. The mac and cheese tasted like Annie's boxed mac and cheese. Don't bother paying for it. You can make it at home. The caramel apple bread pudding is heavenly!! Portion sizes are good! I had leftovers.“

Technical notes: Food came in a timely manner, attentive staff, and the venue offered a relaxing atmosphere where the music wasn't too loud but just loud enough for general conversation. Utilities were clean and well kept.“

“We didn't eat, so can't rate, but the food we saw looked amazing. Our bartender was great, he made us feel right at home (tall guy with a beard from Florida) sorry can't remember his name. But we felt right at home and had a great time. Would recommend the Broken Blender to everyone. Thanks for a great time.“

“The most generous, fun, witty, lady bar tender I think from California and been at XYZ for around 20 years. She even stayed a little later to accommodate 3 of us still wanting last minute drinks and since I missed my flight I was stuck until 4am at the Aloft with no reservation and she made me an extra special drink of her own design... I'll always remember the best service and I'm actually NOT a drinker but the dried fruit addiction made it like a meal!! I absolutely loved it and will try drinking more with dried fruits!!“

“This is a sports bar but they got great menu. Football game was playing on all the tv's all over the restaurant. We ordered salmon blt, steamed mussels, salmon dip with pita and clam chowder. The mussels was great. The salmon blt did not taste that great but it's okay. Salmon dip with capers, onions and tomatoes then smothered on the pita bread was a great combination.
The restaurant was crowded and every one seemed to be enjoying their dinner.“

“This is a three story party bar, with the top floor a nice rooftop bar with a small gas FirePit ! The vibe is young 20-40 from what we experienced and had a Latin vibe on the top floor as they were gearing up for a live DJ. The music and vibe was not for the 50+ set! Service and drinks were good. Younger people would likely give this a 5 !
