Sushi Motto Reviews
I’ve been craving a bento box for a couple weeks now did some research of different restaurants in Anchorage and found this place. I went in to check it out and look at their menu. First off one of the cleanest places I’ve seen, very nice and helpful staff especially with placing a to go order. Omg the portion sizes for a Mongolian beef bento box was enough to feed two people and reasonably priced. Definitely my go to bento box place.
We wanted to try something new.
Found Sushi Motto. When we arrived we were greeted and seated. Our oldest was having a hard time deciding on what he wanted because it's a new place. One of the ladies came to our table and helped him with his decision. She was amazing with helping him. Made it a calm and easy choice. All of our meals were exceptional. King fu panda. Lion king. Surf and turf. California roll. Crunch roll. And shrimp fried rice.

Sushi Motto is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Japanese cuisine. The owners take great care of their customers and food, which is reflected in the quality of the dishes. The hotpot, chicken yakisoba, and chicken fried rice are all top-notch, with fresh ingredients making the fried rice a favorite. The gyoza is steamed to perfection, and the fish is fresh and clean tasting, adding to the overall dining experience. The bento box, nigiri, tempura, and gyoza are highly recommended, along with a sauce bar that even appeals to non-sauce lovers. Customers have enjoyed the omakase experience, the octopus appetizer, and meals like the crispy rice roll and family boat. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. One customer noted the Crazy Devil sushi, which is spicier than similar rolls elsewhere, might become their new favorite. The environment is nice and quiet, making it a great casual hangout spot. Overall, Sushi Motto exceeds expectations, leaving customers beyond full and satisfied in a clean and accommodating atmosphere, even for families.
