“First time here. My chicken fried steak was delicious. Gravy good. Home fries good. Eggs poached to perfection, English muffin (I got on the side) nicely toasted. My husband got the heart attack and really enjoyed it—but it’s a lot of food, so he didn’t finish. Beer: He preferred the satisfaction feeling hazy IPA. Service okay. We will be back.“

“Only gone once so far but I gotta say, Wilderness Inn is not only a LOT cheaper than the air force DFAC but also has way better (and more) options.
Only 7 bucks for a full tray of food? As opposed to like- 12 bucks just for a salad alone? Sign me up.

Good way to save on money while also still getting good food. Worth the extra drive if you're on AF side of JBER👍
Hoping the current renovation for the AF DFAC goes a similar route.

Just wish there were better signs for what each area serves and that the servers had an easier time hearing you over all the noise.“
