Got the Biscuits & Gravy during brunch, came with Home Fries and two eggs. Home Fries were bland, wasn't to concerned, was just gonna ask for some salt n pepper. However, the Bicuits & Gravy were not good. I had to use my butter knife to saw through the Biscuit, it was over cooked. The bottom was nearly charred which made it bitter. The gravy was not made correctly, very thick and starchy. The cook who made it should have tasted it and known that the flour was not...
Elevated pub food. Comfy spacious seating. The menu has a good selection with something for almost anyone, from artisan pizzas to pastas to steak. They offer some very nice wines and a good selection of beers on tap.
Finally got around to trying Corks and Hops in Eagle River, and I must say, it was a great experience. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Peach Cobbler. Perfect flaky crust and a warm peach filling. This was all complemented beautifully by a pinch of cinnamon, and the scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It was so good I forgot to take a picture!
