Ever since Jalapeños moved to their new location, the quality of food and the service has become lacking unfortunately. We’ve been loyal Jalapeños customers for so many years and have never had any issues until the last two orders. Today’s order was horrible. The mini asada tacos didn’t taste normal and the chicken chimi is now the size of a child’s chimi however still the adult size price. Mr Ramos I sure hope you can fix the issues.

Very underwhelming with flavor, dried out, food was cold, and a dried inedible orange in a 17 dollar margarita. I’d also like to discuss the price point, put lightly it’s absurdly expensive for what it is. Your competition (literally across the street) has better food with a significantly better price point. I get it’s Alaska but this was still not what I’d expected. If it were me I’d bring it back to the drawing board, stick to what you were good at before the “upgraded” and use fresh ingredients with dishes cooked to order. Bigger does not mean cut corners.

Beautiful new venue with easy parking. Inside and outside seating, beautiful bar and fun atmosphere. Many of the plates have their own twist on a traditional favorite. Fairly family friendly, definitely up scale. A great place to celebrate any special event. Drinks are great, loved all our food.

The food is super delicious and the presentation was Instagram worthy!! Definitely recommend the scratch and jalapeno margarita!!

I may have just chosen poorly, but my asada bowl tasted like an old leather shoe. Super disappointing. Queso and guacamole were on point, and it is a beautiful new building. My husband's scratch marg was also great!

18% Gratuity for throwing some Enchiladas, rice and beans in an aluminum dish on already overpriced food. They got us once, never again. Since moving to the new location they have become the absolute last option for Mexican good in Eagle River. Save yourself a few bucks and go have better food and drinks elsewhere.
