This is a hole in the wall typical Asian sushi place. I love the food and the service is absolutely awesome, but you have to get past the grungie; everything is so so good and fresh I try not to look too hard at cleanliness. We have only had one item so far that was not recommended and that was their fried Rice, it was so expensive. It did not taste that great and the quantity for the price was disappointing. Took my daughter out here for some Sushi. Food was good and service wasn’t awful nor spectacular. Wasn’t super busy, a few open tables, but business was bustling away. Waitress seemed excited when we initially came in, but the demeanor changed slightly when I told her we needed to place the order to-go. She absolutely did her job well in upselling to dinner plates, lol. (Jimmy needs to give her a raise, lol.) I wish the menus explained better the ingredients (fish identification)...
I had the Snow White sushi roll and the crab rangoons. The wrapper for the crab rangoons is thin and delicately crispy so you could appreciate the filling more while still enjoying the crunch. The Snow White roll was really good, it had a lot of flavors that were all in harmony with each other; and the crunchy stuff on top was delicate but very satisfying, making it more unique than most other crunchy sushi rolls I've had in Alaska since coming here.
