We just had our first date night in months because…life. Mae was fantastic with handling our last minute reservation request (and edit). She greeted us upon entering like old friends and courteously offered to take my coat and scarf. Cole made great recommendations for starters and wine selections. We don’t get here enough but every time we have been in we receive the service of a five star Vegas dining experience (we would know since we lived there for four years) and the food is always exceptional. Had our anniversary dinner at Stalk. It was fantastic and the service was next level! Definitely a Jem in Alaska! The wine list is great as well. Steaks were amazing and try the creamed spinach and artichoke side dish. It is a little loud so just be prepared for that but We will definitely be going back!

Haven't even finished my meal and I can already tell this place is well worth it. Incredible staff, amazing food, lovely atmosphere. I have no doubt I will be coming here again in the future. 10/10 would recommend

We celebrated my birthday here tonight and it was nothing short of exceptional. Leo provided top-notch service — attentive, personable, and professional. Compliments to the chef for an incredible meal bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It was such a memorable dining experience. We will be returning very soon!

The moment you walk in you feel like family. They take very good care of you, and ensure you are not missing anything.
The drinks are flavor full and reasonable.
The food.. the AK Seared Scallop Piccata was wonderful. Some of the best scallops I have had. I would just order 2 of these dishes for a meal.
The steak was okay. It was 70 dollars for a filet that was cooked perfectly however the cut was thick so to even get the middle medium rare ment that 50% was medium to well.
The Risotto was decent. Bland but still fresh and paired well with the steak.

Over all the food is a little over priced for the quality of the steak I received. The Scallops were something I would come back for, and the service.

This was our first time dining at Stalks. We have been to many high end steak houses from NYC to the West Coast and Stalks ranks right up there with the best of them.

From the moment you arrive you’re greeted with very welcoming staff. Table service was impeccable throughout the entire evening and attention to detail was impressive.

Now the food. Best Cesar salad I’ve had in years. Steaks cooked to absolute perfection and so tender. Very high quality meat. We tried a few different sides and all were absolutely delicious even right down to the dessert.

This restaurant knows how to deliver high end food and service, Well done Stalks 👏🏻

Our server/lead bartender was amazing. He made sure to check on us and gave us great recommendations.
The chef and owner even came out to each table to check on his customers.
Definitely need more high end restaurants like these in Eagle River because the date night options are too limited in this town.
However, when you call for reservation, if you know you gonna try one of the special cuts like Tomahawk or Cowboy, please remember to tell them so they can put it aside!!
They sell out fast!!!!!!

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at Stalk this evening. The customer service was exceptional. The ambiance, food and overall experience were wonderful. Our server ‘s recommendations were on point and he was a joy to interact with.

I also want to highlight that they honor those who are not alcohol drinkers along with those who are. Seeing zero proof beverages highlighted is rare and appreciated.

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. The ambiance is elegant yet comfortable, with just the right balance of sophistication and warmth. The service was impeccable—attentive without ever feeling rushed.

The steaks were truly next level: perfectly seared, cooked exactly to temperature, and bursting with flavor. You can tell the quality of the cuts is top-tier, and every bite was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The owner and staff are clearly passionate about what they do, and it shows in every detail—from the care put into the menu to the genuine hospitality throughout the evening.

This is without a doubt the best steakhouse I’ve ever visited—worth every penny. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a world-class meal.

Just left!! Celebrated my partners birthday and the entire experience was amazing. Our server Dan took very good care of us as well as the many other servers that came to our table to help. We came because of the amazing steak reviews and very glad we did. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate or just get great food and service I would definitely refer this place.
