The Wood Center is the Student Union Building for the University of Alaska at Fairbanks. Gayle and I recently wandered in looking for Lunch. The Cafeteria was open, albeit with limited selections, but we didn't care. While we "dined" and afterwards, we admired the big windows, the amount of light, and lots of space for sitting or socializing. I took special note of a history display that noted a 1972 Leonard Nimoy appearance, where he stated that voting for Richard Nixon was "Not Logical".

I went to UAF for work. The Artic Java had plenty of seating and they have wifi so you can sit down and get your work done.

Coffee is okay, it's not amazing. But I guess what do you expect from a bunch of college students. It really isn't their fault that employees don't stay for long. And because of that the coffee quality varies. As a coffee lover I would say that the coffee is too weak (not enough coffee ground or a light roast). I've probably bought several dozen cups there now. If you really care for quality in your cup of coffee then go to the coffee in the ELIF building. But other than all that, I guess you could drink it.

I like relaxing herw after classes. The food is good, but the coffee is not their strong suit.

Spotty service. On multiple occasions I have waited 30+ minutes for my order, and have even witnessed customers who order after me receive their stuff first.
