Sandwiches were ok, smoothie was good, but I was not warned that the Mexican Fudge included Cayenne pepper. I cant have cayenne pepper, so after 1 bite and realizing this, I walked back to the 5 20-somethings standing around, and asked if I could return it, knowing they would have to throw it away. They threw it away, but offered no refund or other piece of fudge, even after I asked. They did not warn me about the cayenne, so I did expect something. Most businesses would cut an old lady some slack, since every other Mexican chocolate I’ve eaten has only had cinnamon. So, I don’t recommend the service here.

The atmosphere and workers were great. Got a tuna salad sandwich for $16 and I couldn't taste the tuna because there was hardly any on it. I understand things are more expensive here, but it just seemed like a lot for bread, a slice of tomato, leaf of lettuce and smear of tuna salad.

Was very disorganized and slow service. The fudge was dry and no where near what I was expecting when recommended.

Nice and cozy place. Very spacious dining room, great for hanging out and reading a book or doing crafts. I tried their watermelon fudge and it was quite good. Nice little place to get gifts, fudge, lunch, and drinks.

Loved this place first of all the staff, so friendly, welcoming, they will do the coffee the way you like it and the coffee is very good. The fudge was very good and a big selection of it. Highly recommended

What an awesome place. We are visiting for the day and asked a local policeman where we should go, and this was the answer. Great sandwiches and soups, fudge and miscellaneous in an adorable setting.

While visiting Fairbanks, I had lunch at The Fudge Pot not once but twice - two days in a row! My husband and I enjoyed our sandwiches and chatting with the staff who were all courteous and professional. We ordered takeout but were happy to wait because the restaurant is beautifully decorated and inviting. I highly recommend The Fudge Pot for delicious sandwiches (and pasta salad, as a side).

Fudge Pot does great gluten free sandwhiches. Great, quick service even on busy days. I always recommend it to my tour groups, I’ve heard they have great salmon chowder too

The food here was good and the fudge was delicious. But we had a service issue which was handled poorly. We ordered the soup of the day, a side salad, and a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. The person didn’t charge me for the soup initially, but I reminded them to add it to the bill. The soup and salad were delivered promptly. But the grilled cheese was not. We asked about it and eventually a server came over and explained that another table answered to our name (Rivers), and took our sandwich. So they re-made it and brought it out and apologized. Fast forward to the end of the meal. I was still hungry, so I decided to make a second order. I got an oat milk hot chocolate and vanilla caramel black sea salt fudge. The person didn’t charge me for the oat milk so I reminded them to add it to the bill. The server who dropped off the sandwich was walking by and told the person at the register to charge me for a grilled cheese sandwich. I explained I already paid and showed them the receipt. The server walked me over to the table who accepted our sandwich originally and she said, this person took your sandwich, and you should pay for it. I was so offended. The family sitting there got involved and agreed to pay for the sandwich but the server never apologized to me. So offensive to accuse me of stealing, after I reminded them to charge me for everything I consumed. What a terrible customer service experience. Server was an older woman with blonde, curly hair and a ponytail. Ruined my whole experience there.

Ate there for the first time this weekend--busy and phoned in an order for pickup. The service!!! It was so great! The person that answered the phone was quick and friendly, and they made my lunch faster that I could walk across the street! It was simple and perfect, just what I wanted. Their salmon chowder is delicious, but I was pretty mad I wasn't sitting by the windows people watching, instead of grabbing and going. I'll be back!
