This is a diamond hidden in Fairbanks! EXCELLENT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, FRIENDLY STAFF! Exceed expectations time and again. Recommend the mexican shrimp scampi if you're a seafood fan. The fried apple burritos are perfect to take home... I always have to take them home due to being so stuffed already. 6 outta 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Overall decent, but not chomping at the bit to return. I would say 3.5 stars. Service was friendly, yet care free and did not seem too concerned (perhaps due to the lack of customers), but not terrible though. We were placed back one spot in the request queue, for someone more important than us to be able to get drunk (hint, hint). And could not disturb our waiter due to their friendship with the guests at another table. This caused incessant delays. The food was done well and not overpriced for alaska (pertaining to the lunch specials only). Oddly enough the place seemed quite a bit over staffed, and there were not many guests at all, which is very strange for a Sunday afternoon.
I would definitely recommend going at least once to see what your experience will be. Cheers.

I am so incredibly disappointed in the way Gallos handled my order. Nay I'm downright PISSED OFF. If you cannot handle packaging a large order, don't accept them. If the order does NOT fit into 2 bags USE 3! If you cannot bag it without spilling into the bags, USE BOXES. if a platter is used but you need to cover USE ANOTHER PLATTER to keep it warm. I spend well over 100$ I do NOT expect sloppy, wet, OVER STUFFED bags that I have to REASSEMBLE and clean up from leaky wet bags.
The food is probably tasty, but by the time I clean up and reassemble it, it will all be cold.
I will NOT recommend DELIVERIES from GALLO'S. The staff cannot handle it, and they obviously have zero respect for customers who CHOOSE to spend their money here.
So So mad. Posting this on Yelp Too! You deserve it.

I don't know what it is, but every time I eat here something is off. Nothing major. The employees are fantastic. The food always leaves something to be desired. It's still very good, but the execution isn't always on point. For instance tonight, the chicken was very dry, no cheese on the refried beans Definitely a place worth going to.

Really needed a solo dinner and a beer at 4pm. Every restaurant in town can have bad days, but I've personally never had a poor time here. The beer was cold, the fajitas were sizzling, and the wait staff were attentive. A great chill atmosphere for family, friends or colleagues.

The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The inside is well lit and colorful, and there's tons of seating for family and friends.
I got the Camarones Mazatlan, which were awesome! They have a ton of good food and honestly the prices are pretty decent for what you would expect up here for a sit-down restaurant, so it's right around the same price level as other sit-down restaurants in Fairbanks.

I always liked to eat fajitas with steak meat, and now you will get vegetables with LITTLE BIT OF STEAK 👎👎👎👎 But the price went up since I was here last time, If the price goes up, I understand with our current economy, BUT LEAVE THE PORTION ALONE 😞😞😞 DON'T LIKE THIS PLACE ANYMORE

Good service, good food, yeah those boxes are all checked off! We went in with a large group and they accommodate us well. Some had to wait quite a while to get their food but again we were a large group so maybe there was that? Would have to come with small group to find out. This place is worth a stop if you are in Fairbanks or passing through and need a Mexican food fix. The place was well kept it seemed to me, so great job staff and management.
