Soggy crispy tortilla, tasteless beans and rice. Plate must have been microwaved so hot it was untouchable. I know it's Alaska but dang

Really needed a solo dinner and a beer at 4pm. Every restaurant in town can have bad days, but I've personally never had a poor time here. The beer was cold, the fajitas were sizzling, and the wait staff were attentive. A great chill atmosphere for family, friends or colleagues.

Food was not prepared well. Fajitas weren't even cooked. Only thing that was good was the Budlight.

The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The inside is well lit and colorful, and there's tons of seating for family and friends.

I got the Camarones Mazatlan, which were awesome! They have a ton of good food and honestly the prices are pretty decent for what you would expect up here for a sit-down restaurant, so it's right around the same price level as other sit-down restaurants in Fairbanks.

I always liked to eat fajitas with steak meat, and now you will get vegetables with LITTLE BIT OF STEAK 👎👎👎👎
But the price went up since I was here last time,
If the price goes up, I understand with our current economy, BUT LEAVE THE PORTION ALONE 😞😞😞
DON'T LIKE THIS PLACE ANYMORE

Good service, good food, yeah those boxes are all checked off!
We went in with a large group and they accommodate us well. Some had to wait quite a while to get their food but again we were a large group so maybe there was that? Would have to come with small group to find out. This place is worth a stop if you are in Fairbanks or passing through and need a Mexican food fix.
The place was well kept it seemed to me, so great job staff and management.

We’ve eaten at Gallo’s several times, but it’s gotten progressively worse. Gave it one last try with out-of-town family, takeout on a Friday night. Arrived at 7:35 for a 7:30 pickup. Food was awful.

Tostadas were stuck to foil, melted, and inedible. Avocados were brown, cilantro limp, cheese hardened. Enchiladas had no flavor, dry rice, and slimy beans. The $23.95 chile verde tasted like canned sauce, completely unappetizing.

Service was cold and confused. Place smelled like industrial cleaner. We spent $70+ and threw most of it away. Never again.

Got the halibut fajitas. Don't! Halibut is not meant to be cooked like that... I realize now. The halibut came out way over cooked. Out was very very crispy. The onions and peppers were done nicely but the fish was very disappointing. The sour cream, pico, and guac were in a small bowl together and was very wet. Like something had water in it and it cause everything else to get yucky. The other issue I had was their chips and salsa. Why give me a tiny cup of salsa that chips can't fit in? Big disappointment. I don't see myself revisiting this place for halibut fajitas. My friends did enjoy their meal, especially some halibut tacos.

What happened? The place last night was a dump. Upholstery is all ripped and torn, tables were sticky, we moved three times. The carpets were covered with broken spilled, tortilla chips and the service was a snails pace.Frankly it was shocking just how run down this place looked. I was scared to look in the kitchen
That said, the food was still pretty good.
Owners need to clean the place up and reupholster the shabby booths and chairs before I go back.

Large plates of food to fill your belly. Great for getting together with friends or family. They have large TVs in the bar area. Did I mention they have huge drinks as well. Bright interior and vibrant colors everywhere. You can see who's around and take in all the details. Haha

We ordered Flautas and Pozole. The flautas were burned and the Pozole didn't have white corn

Nice place, but this time, the waiters were ruled, and the food was overcooked .
