Do not go unless you call for prices before hand. Made a order online for a $16 dollar burger and a half order of biscuits and gravy that was supposed to be $13. Got charged $25 for a very mediocre burger and horrible biscuits and gravy. Than was told that's what it is deal with it. Never again

We got a big breakfast here. The portion was much bigger than we normally get at tourist locations. The price was reasonable, and coffee was good. The waitress was very polite and professional. She let us go with $41 cash on a $43 bill since the credit card reader was down. Thank you!

This morning I went to the Hotspot Cafe on Van Horn Road. As a born and raised Alaskan, coming across a southern restaurant always sounded enjoyable. I seem to have finally found a true southern experience, after careful, consideration, I felt the need to post a review. I can say I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone with ethnic diversity. I found the food confusing, I ordered a chili omelet to try something different and if raw onions, no seasoning and watery pinto beans is chili then it was the first real chili I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was also a new experience for me, with loud, pure white sentiments to how the youth can't manage money and would have no retirement to fall back on, and how we need to keep America’s bloodline pure and certain people are ruining it by coming to this country. Also, it was stated that they wouldn’t trust a Mexican to cook anything. The conversation was not what I would call comfortable for the poor Asian couple and the Mexican guy that was there with his girlfriend. The retirement planning discussion was also interesting to hear as both the waitress and owner are well into traditional retirement age. I hope the staff and patrons are able to be more welcoming the next time someone who doesn’t fit their purist ideals comes through. p.s. The sourdough toast that I ordered was fittingly the whitest white Wonderbread you can find.
