“One of our few favorite places to enjoy a meal here in Fairbanks, the food is good, the hibachi chefs and the waiters are nice.
Only issue is the guy with the thick rimmed glasses( I want to assume he is the manager/owner) he comes off very rude. Throws the menus in the tables, cuts infront of guest to get by. He just gives off a bad energy. But other than that the place is decent!“

“Ursa Major Distillery is a small, but mighty gem! The distillery tour was fantastic, and the atmosphere and friendliness were phenomenal. Meeting Rob, the owner, and hearing his starting story while tasting his wonderful creations was a highlight. Their spirits pack a real punch, but the biggest draw for us was the incredible Scandinavian Akavit. Highly recommend this spot for a personalized experience, unique spirits, and an all-around warm welcome!“

The parking lot beer garden adds a casual vibe that invites patrons to enjoy their brews in the fresh air, even on a chilly Fairbanks evening.

The standout of the visit was the Willet Bourbon Blend Reginald Van Horn Barleywine. This meticulously crafted blend of Barleywine was aged to perfection—12 months in Willet Bourbon barrels and 7 months in Knob Creek Bourbon barrels. The result is a complex, velvety brew that balances rich malt sweetness with the warmth of bourbon. It’s not just a beer; it’s an experience. Easily the most memorable beer of the trip, it showcased the brewery's dedication to quality and creativity.

“Mocha Moose Express is seriously my most favorite hut in Fairbanks 🫎😭💕☕️ I’m so happy they now have 2 locations! 🤗 The baristas are always so friendly + personable, the food + drinks are always spot on, and the possibilities for drink combos are endless! I always have to look on Mocha Moose Express’ page/stories for drink ideas, because they can make pretty much anything you want 🤪🤗💕 HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for a yummy pick-me-up! ⭐️“

“Updated menu as of November 2023.Ordered the loaded burrito. It was loaded indeed with too much cheese. The horchata coffee special was good, but the flavor definitely overpowered the taste of coffee or not sure if there was even coffee in it. I just assumed since it said "coffee special".“

“My wife and I were surprised to find possibly the best breakfast burrito in this little drive-thru spot in Fairbanks, Alaska. We stumbled on it because it was close to where we stayed and gave it a shot. The breakfast burritos stacked with eggs, cheese, and meat, were hot and delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly. Recommended for a quick and good breakfast.“

“We've been eating here as a family of 5 for years. I have never taken the time to write a review but wanted to after last nights service. We've had great service first off all the time and the manager of The Banks has gone above and beyond for us a few times. We are vegan so it's always nice to find a place in town that has options for us. Last night's server in the bar was the most authentic , kind and funny gentlemen we've ever had. He interacted with our children as if they were adults, quick, efficient. It's always great having respect go both ways when it comes to service and the Banks has just that. The drinks also always are on point!“
