We ordered the verde pizza. Very disappointing. 5 pieces of squash and 4 broccolini on the entire pizza. It was pretty much flatbread with some scoops of goat cheese. No flavor and no veggies and just very disappointing for a main course
Holy Heck this is the best pizza ive ever eaten in my entire life id give 100 stars if I could ever blended so nicely, it tasted like heaven
Food was fantastic and service was great
. Was not expecting the food to be that great and it was amazing.
The meatballs were flavorless and the sauce was undeveloped and acidic. Thankfully this was the cheapest meat item on the menu.
I went there with my wife. I got the breakfast buffet, she ordered off the menu. Service was painfully slow, food for both of us was pretty mediocre. The buffet then ran out of everything. Nothing was prepared, They eventually got some food out but that was pretty weak. It was a Monday morning. For the price, I would not ever go back again to this place. Go into town and get something or eat a pop tart. Either is going to be far better than this
AVOID AVOID AVOID What is the manager thinking? (Waitress was very nice though)
Bruschetta was half mushrooms on bread. Bruschetta is not broken - don’t change it!
Pizza was bland and basically 50% crust. Tiny center area of ingredients. Look at pic.
Pasta entree was about 4 bites of pasta, for a full price entree $$$. Look at pic.
For being the nice restaurant at alyeska resort and paying resort prices, you sure don’t get squat.
Will never go back. Hotel manager needs to rethink how things are done here. Beautiful spot, nice setting but food is bad, tiny portions, and big prices. Something’s gotta change.
Beautifully styled with a wonderful atmosphere. And we had an attentive, helpful server. But the menu is tiny, and the food was very overpriced for the portions. Unfortunately, it was the *only* restaurant open in the entire resort for lunch on that day, so we were a captive audience.
Well, the night started off great with our friendly server, the cocktails, and the focaccia bread. The bread comes with a side of ricotta cheese, 4 large slices of focaccia, and a small side of olives for $13 - this was very reasonable for the large portion given.
We then ordered the mushroom pizza and the stuffed pasta. The mushroom pizza was what we expected, filling enough for one hungry person. The stuffed pasta is not worth your money. My server warned me that it wasn’t filling, but I guess my expectations were still higher. The stuffed pasta is $32 and comes with 6-7 pieces of normal sized ravioli, covered in oil and a sweet sauce. I left hungry. I would understand the price and portion if the sauce was savory & exciting, but it wasn’t.
Lastly, the flavor of the tiramisu was what I’d expect but unfortunately, it had so much cocoa powder on top what we were coughing with every bite that we took. This would be great with some less cocoa.
Overall, I would come back for the focaccia and cocktails.
Well, I love the atmosphere, decorations, hospitality of the place, plants, cleanliness, and the location. Music was also soft and comfortable
However, the food was of quite a bad quality. Halibut was too dry, chicken was too oily and dry. And the overall taste was so so.
We came in the off season for our anniversary to Hotel Alyeska. Forte was one of the only restaurants open during the weekdays. Our service was excellent. I’ve been wanting chimichurri on meat for a while and this ribeye did not disappoint. It was excellent. They have great Caesar salad and I loved their coconut ice cream.

Beautiful, recently redecorated restaurant, but a truly regretable meal. Not busy when we were there- one of two seated tables. Seated by the bartender who led us to a table, dropped menus on it, and walked off without a word. Waiter was attentive and kind. Took orders for drinks and an Appetizer, brought drinks and forgot Appetizer. Ordered arugula salad and pasta. The salad dressing tasted ok but had wilted arugula and was missing hazelnuts. Was supposed to have toasted coconut, but we had to fish around to find little brown specks in the salad that we realized was the coconut. It tasted stale like it was the debris in the bottom of the prep container. We ordered halibut with the salad- it was just OK and didn't smell super fresh. The pasta arrived lukewarm with undercooked potatoes. Taste was meh and swimming in oil. We asked about the missing foccacia Appetizer and it was brought with an apology and offer to have it for free. That's good because the bread was dried out and tasteless. It looked mass produced and poor quality and was so dried put and hard I could have hammered a nail with it. It was served with bland ricotta that had some herbs visible mixed in but was totally tasteless. My wine with dinner was forgotten, which was a blessing since the food was barely edible. The waiter was very kind when we gave feedback about the atrocious meal and compted all but the alcohol, which we appreciated. Overall- don't waste your money. Leave the hotel and go to Jack Sprat, or get beer and fries and the Stizmark.

I didn't know what to expect, but I expected more than what we got. We are not the type of people to complain, and we are pretty easy to please. Maybe we are just not used to eating at an upscale place, but we do know the difference between great vs. average food and service. The host and our waitress were great, but that is where it ended. I ordered the "stuffed pasta" ravioli, and I figured for $32 it would be damn good. It was just ok, and there were 6 ravioli total. It was supposed to be topped with a lemon fetta and croutons....if the fetta and croutons were on the plate, I have seen more crumbs fall off of a piece of focaccia. Speaking of Focaccia, it was pretty dry and tasteless.
My wife ordered the arugula salad, which was kinda small but tasted good. She decided to "add protein" to her dish, and she went with the chicken. She said it was overcooked, and it was a small amount for $12 extra. She also got Affogato for dessert. The scoop of ice cream was tiny, and the espresso shot was burnt something terrible. The prices and portion sizes are out of control.
Definitely never going again.
(The pic shows the plate after I ate 2 ravioli)

Delicious food and quick service. I would give it 5 stars but it was a mess and needs some attention to cleanliness.
