This place was absolutely amazing. Every single staff was so kind and so welcoming. Our server was so attentive. I couldn’t rave more about these hard working employees!
Not only is the staff so amazing, the food is even better somehow! Every single thing that touched our table was FABULOUS. The potato soup with bacon was amazing, so good after a cold day! The local apple cider was so good, and I didn’t even think I liked apple cider, but I will 100% be ordering that next time! The prime rib steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare! It was so good, all the veggies and potatoes on the side were great! The king dong chocolate dessert was AMAZING. You have to get this! It’s enough to share, but it’s so so so good! The sweet potato fries were amazing!
Everything about this place was amazing! The atmosphere is great especially after a cold day out, we came straight from the Nordic Spa and this was just what we needed!
It’s a little more upscale in price, but I PROMISE it’s absolutely worth it!

Edit: changing my review. Previously had posted some frustration about showing up to a private dinner. However, we made it down the following weekend and were sat immediately. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I had the ribeye which was excellent. My daughter had the kids chicken, rice and broccoli dish and my wife had the bipimbop. Everything was great and all the food we saw coming out to other tables looked fantastic as well. Worth the 2nd attempt for sure and would love to come again. Prices were fair as well.

I’ve eaten here numerous times and the food is consistently good. The wait for a table is usually long. It’s insanely loud and crowded which absolutely detracts from the experience.
Our most recent experience left us in disbelief and questioning whether we’ll return.
We stopped in just to order the king dong cake slice to go. This transaction took place at the host stand. While finishing the check out process, I noticed a $3 tip was added to the transaction without my selection or approval. When I asked about this, she appeared annoyed and asked if I wanted it removed to which I of course said yes, out of principle. This required her to get someone else who could refund the entire charge and repeat it without the tip. He appeared frustrated and impatient. He then brought me the cake and when I asked for cutlery so we could eat it, he was visibly irritated.
I can’t believe after your dishonest business practices you act as if I am the problem!

Super cute space with great food. Unfortunately, I had terrible service. My waitress was clearly trying to turn and burn her tables quickly, and gave terrible service. It was not very busy and she was anything but attentive. We had to ask other staff for a second round of drinks, and we were not checked in on until our meals were practically done. I am a service industry professional in a resort town myself, and found this experience very frustrating.

This by far was my favorite meal while in Anchorage. Perfectly cooked, fresh and creative. I was in a group and everyone loved their entrees and apps. The Mama Mia is best bolognese I’ve had anywhere and the salmon is just perfect.
Very rude!!! It doesn’t hurt to say, “my apologies, XYZ.”

This is probably my favorite restaurant that I have tried in Alaska. The food is always delicious, staff is very friendly and the ambience of the surrounding mountains is awesome. They have a creative menu that seems to be updated every time I go. I recommend saving room for dessert because they hit home runs there as well.
