Black cod sweet cheeks were over-fried (as for me), but delish anyway. Veggie salad + black cod on a side was my best decision to take away. I really liked it in the morning. Fish was very fresh and juicy. Mushroom soup was also good. Hot stone pork - didn’t find it as good as expected. Vibe and atmosphere was very nice and cute, all those greens on the selling and glass make the place very cozy. Service was also nice and friendly. Thanks everyone for the experience. 😉

Mediocre (if that) food in an uncurated menu, prepared by the uncoached and served by the despondent.
The only think more lacking than the concept, preparation and service was the management - whom I sure felt that he had blessed us with his company. What a smug individual lacking in self-awareness.

I’ve been to this restaurant probably 100x in the past 6 years I’ve lived in Alaska-I recently dined in for the Valentine’s Day 5 course dinner and everything was perfect! I typically pass on red meat (I just don’t crave it) but the beef Wellington was perfection! Ending the dinner with my favorite (king dong cake) was a sweet treat! I’ll be in girdwood for my friends wedding this coming weekend and I won’t be leaving without a piece of that cake to take home!

Went for Valentine’s Day and left saying this was some of the best food I’ve had. I’ve been to all of the nice places in anchorage and the valley, Club Paris, Sullivans, Simon & Seaforts exc. although I love all of those places, Jack Sprat truly sets itself apart from them. Every time I go im fully satisfied with the menu and the dish I choose along with the wine. I wish I could pay rent and live in a chair there for the rest of my life.

Went for dinner on a Thursday night. We were seated right away in the bar. Great atmosphere with live music. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Food was top notch. The ribeye was a perfect medium rare. Yam fries were so yummy!!

Locally owned and operated, this place called Jack Sprat exceeds all possible expectations. Are we really in a remote sea and mountain environment? Tested over 3 consecutive nights I’ll attest this is a memorable restaurant to visit. You will be enjoying local fresh ingredients and the best of Alaskan food with an extensive beverage selection. You’re lucky if you touch down on a night with local entertainment!

Repeated wonderful service. Back in town and knew we wanted to go back. The food and environment were as we remembered and it was so enjoyable we returned again 2 days later, both times served by Mitzi who was not only fantastic but such a great memory. Wonderful ambiance, good tastes incredible and they are so accommodating for food allergies. This restaurant is a true gem.
