Pretty mellow atmosphere, smaller space. The food was absolutely fantastic and all of the staff members were friendly.

I’m not sure why others did not give it five stars but I loved the food and service. Sushi was fresh and the service was fantastic.

Parker was our chef at the bar, he was very knowledgeable and even had some secret items that weren't on the menu for us to try. Great experience.
My Wife & I visited here after a day trip to Alyeska & I am beyond impressed. We ordered both from the kitchen & the sushi bar & absolutely everything we ate was delicious. Can’t wait to go back next time we visit Alyeska.

Its the only restaurant in the resort that's actually worth going to
The place is convenient if you're staying at Aleyeska resort. I was just annoyed about two things: they underestimated the wait. They said it would be maximum 50 minute wait. I ended up waiting nearly 80 minutes and only got seated because we had to come back to the restaurant and complain. Then I also got overcharged about a sake I never ordered. I only found about this when I got home a few days later breaking down the receipt.
The food was good. I liked the atmosphere. Large variety of menu items to choose from.
Excellent food and reasonably priced!!!
Will be returning.

At $12 for two peace’s of Salmon sushi you would think it would be a quality piece of salmon. It was cut so thin that you could see through it. It would fall apart when you picked it up with the chop sticks. We were here a few years ago and the quality was good. It’s to bad that it’s not what it used to be. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We sat at the sushi bar and it was fabulous. The chef was engaging and made delicious sushi. He overheard about our birthdays and offered us a dessert in celebration. We chose the matcha coconut ice cream. Delectable dinner with hospitable hosts.

Highly recommend!! The sushi here was super fresh and very tasty!! Our server was great and our food was served pretty fast even with our party of 6. Not a lot of seating inside so recommend making a reservation.

I’ve been to Japan twice. I’m a foodie. This was seriously good sushi! The salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had. Wow!

My family came here last Fall when my mother and sister were in town visiting us. We were waiting for this restaurant to open for the evening so we got seated right away. It is a smaller restaurant but tastefully decorated. There is a small bar area you can see the chef making sushi. Everything was delicious from the drinks, appetizer, sushi, ramen and dessert. The flourless chocolate cake was beautifully presented. Sunomono salad with octopus was tasty and flavorful. We also got the Crispy Rice Spicy tuna appetizer; good portion…delicious. Albacore & Onion; another delicious dish. We liked everything we had ordered and ate. All the sushi was very fresh. Would recommend and will come back.

Excellent sushi. Get the platter. Local fish
On 07/22 at around 8 PM we ordered edamame, cucumber salad, Gyoza, tonkatsu ramen, and the cowboy roll to-go. When we arrived at home we realized that we did not receive the edamame even though we paid the full price. Please kindly refund for the edamame.

During our stay at the Alyeska Resort, we gratefully decided to dine at Sakura Asian Bistro. Thank goodness we did! It was just spectacular! Our server Clinton made it even more amazing, with his attentive and exemplary service. The Dynamite roll was the BEST and the Crab hand roll was just as delicious. The Ramen and the Spicy Rock Shrimp were out of this word! I wish we lived closer. I'd go everyday. Thank you Alaska for this gem.
