We were there in September 2024 just before they closed for the season and thank goodness restaurant across the street was closed at 8. We were welcomed in and sat at the little bar in front until table opened . Seated next to window as sun setting about 830 -9 People were so nice ! The food was excellent , I mean really good. We had spot prawn toast . —outstanding . Special was rockfish and wow it was the best dish we had while visiting Alaska!! Wish I had the recipe but really wow.

We enjoyed delicious, fresh seafood made with local ingredients, all while taking in the beautiful ocean views. A wonderful experience!

We had dinner here our first night on our host's recommendation. Portion size was large.
We started with the sushi bake. It was a unique appetizer. It was basically deconstructed sushi in a little casserole and was unapoligetically delicious. We shared a bowl of meaty fish chowder which was very good, and the spicy halibut special with an Indian marsala inspired sauce that was very good.

I like this place. Food was quite good, service was very nice.
The star deduction is because the restaurant, like most of the Spit, is completely overpriced. Price-performance: Well...

This is a 10/10! Really the food is phenomenal. Well thought out, great flavor layering and easily on of the best meals I’ve had in a while and transparently- did not expect this level of dining in Homer and for that I apologize!

Everything but the food is great. Unfortunately, the food was subpar at best. Listen to the reviews and stay away from the Halibut Fish and Chips. I didn’t and paid a hefty premium. The scallops dinner was ok.

Best restaurant in Homer. Everything is delicious and delightful. The menu is well thought out. Great service and nice view in dining room. Fine dining quality but the atmosphere is causal which we enjoyed. We really loved the scallop dish, raw oyster and kale salad. The mushroom/ beans/edamame sauces on the halibut dish were divine and full of umami. Recommend to book (text the restaurant) in advance in summer. It’s always busy. *photos are taken over three meals.

Strongly suggest making reservations. Excellent menu. We tried the Enoki Mushrooms, and they were delicious. The Spot Prawn Pasta and Halibut were perfectly prepared as well as the Alaskan Harvested Crab. Be sure to ask the market price on the crab. We did not and were very surprised. The Vallevo Trebbiano wine is my new favorite.

Snuck in for dinner without a reservation and so glad it worked out! Cioppino special was delightful with a nice glass of white wine. Great service and the best seafood we had in the area!

A couple was raving about this place on a boat tour, so we decided to try it. Definitely made the right choice! The pasta was outstanding, and the sauce on the halibut dish was a highlight.

Quite possibly the best seafood I’ve ever had in in Alaska. We’ve lived here for four years and this food was incredible. The preparation of the salmon and the hell of it was impeccable. It must do if you’re in Homer.
