We stopped in for a beer along our walk on the spit and wished we didn't have plans for dinner. We sat at the bar and had the best chat with the people around us, our bartender, and the owner of the restaurant. When we make our way back here this will definitely be first on our list of places to stop in and have dinner. You absolutely cannot beat the views.

Second time I made it to the Fresh Catch Cafe and each time as been lovely. Fantastic oysters accompanied by a delicious Spanish white wine. The green chili halibut cheek special might possible be the best dish I have had in Alaska. Loved it!

They were quite busy, and warned us we might have to wait awhile, but they worked us in pretty fast. Fantastic service. The Thai Red Curry was spot on and the seafood chowder was loaded with lots of fresh fish.
