If you go to Homer, a Must place to stop, have a beer, and sign a dollar and hang on the wall as tradition. Best hole in the wall on top of the world as one local explained it to me. And I couldn't be happier that I stopped in and had a great time and even better memories!

Great touristy stop to make. Truly one-of-a-kind experience that's worth the drive. Easiest during off-season.

Its the salty dog saloon, if you're staying near by you simply have to stop in for atleast a drink. Wall is covered in $1 bills from visitors. Feel free to grab a marker and fi d a spot to tag your $1 bill

Total hole in the wall bar. Walk in and I am shocked with what we see. Dollar bills on every wall & ceiling. Write a note on the dollar bill and pin it to the wall. This historic spot is a definite stop for all visitors. It's a really cool, tiny place to grab a drink and relax

Fun to visit... Tiny place... Had to see it since I've seen the fisherman on Deadliest Catch doing end of Season interviews ??

Super cool place you must visit!!! We got swag... Visited with the bartender Sonja... Quick tribute to our friend Hal.. he had passed away and we sprinkled some of his ashes nearby we'll definitely be back... If the light is on they're open!!!

Every single time I've walked into this place, it's crowded. It's either because it's summer time - fishing season - or I just showed up at the wrong time. Regardless, I always get what I went there to get and get out. Folks seem to enjoy the place. I have nothing negative about the place to comment on.... It's Alaska. It's a fishermen's paradise...
Cool place to get a beer. More about the history of it than anything. It's small, covered in money every square inch and is cash only. I loved it. Been there a few times.

Such a crazy little piece of americana way out in Alaska. The place was packed to the gills but I was able to get an ice cold domestic beer and stand for a spell while my wife did a little tourist shopping around the area.

Loved visiting this unique saloon! I went earlier in the day, so it wasn’t packed. You can easily spend hours in there just reading the messages left on all the dollar bills. Fun and bubbly bartender, make sure to get one of their awesome hoodies!

We bought souvenirs on a busy Monday afternoon. After driving down the scenic Alaskan highway, we loved the interior and courteous even though there was one server tending the bar. Friendly and busy!
