“Amazing zip line, with the friendliest staff. We went up 2 gondolas and hiked a short way down to the platform. I’ve been on a lot of zip lines in my life (I’m 72) but this one was by far the best view, the smoothest ride and a great landing area. Strap your phones on and go!!“

“This place was surprisingly great. As a person who does not eat meat, I was willing to settle for a burger without a patty and ask for extra lettuce, but to my pleasant surprise, they had a black bean patty that was delightful. I so appreciate when restaurants have that option! And the bun! It was very fresh and soft! So good! The battered fries were also a winner. I read in the comments that some folks were complaining about the food being overpriced, but if you think about where this is, in the middle of nowhere almost, and how much it must cost to bring in the supplies for a restaurant, I really didn’t think it was that bad. Especially because it was so tasty. My daughter had the halibut sandwich and was very pleased.
We sat out on the deck and watched as a whale surfaced and waves somehow came in on water that was mostly smooth. It was such a treat eating there. Highly recommend for a casual outdoor dine.“

“My husband stayed at the ISL while out of town for work. He was gone on his birthday. I called up the front desk on Tuesday evening and asked if they could possibly do something special for him on his birthday (the next day). They had cupcakes for him, made a card of printed off pictures of my kids and I that I emailed (Christina’s idea!), balloons, and snuck up on him in the bar and sang happy birthday to him. He was completely surprised and had a fun and memorable 35th birthday even though he wasn’t home with us in Indiana. I am so thankful for Christina and the staff at ISL for making his birthday special for him since we weren’t able to. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am! My husband enjoyed his stay at the lodge very much! We hope to make a trip together in the future and stay at the lodge! Thanks so much everyone!“
