I first visited the Taku store in Juneau in 1993 while on a cruise. I asked for a large whole salmon to be shipped to my hometown - a special family treat for my mother's upcoming birthday dinner since she loved salmon. I’ve only tried the halibut rub so far and it is great. Certainly adds flavor to the halibut, which is a mild white fish. I made halibut tacos with the halibut pieces and it was delicious.
