We came here after one of our excursions, and had to wait til 11am for it to open, and we had 1 hr max to have our meal. The food came out pretty quickly, and the server here was kind. We ordered the bowl of clam chowder, which was pretty delicious, 2 giant prawns - we could've gone without that, and the grilled king salmon - we enjoyed this (it was served with a mango salsa kind of thing, and it goes very well with the salmon). Glad we got to enjoy restaurant food in Juneau and would recommend this place. If we had more time, I would've wanted to try the crab. I'll be back ;)

Very nice, upscale casual restaurant. King crab is WAY better here than some of the other crab shacks down the street (which shall not be named, but yes, I have been there). Service is incredible as well. Highly recommend if you want some good crab and seafood in Juneau. The other places are 'OK,'but this is what I was looking for.

Had the salmon and halibut with Asparagus, which is cooked to perfection...just melted in my mouth. Best ? all around.
Had to take it to go because I was standing in line for cruise ship but had to have the best while in Alaska. And it is the best.
Which I could have dine in to try desserts and beer.

First time to Juneau. Saw the website offered reservations. Came in served immediately. Our waiter Jani was excellent and attentive to our table. Crab and halibut were outstanding! High recommend the Twisted fish to any “cruiser” looking for the best seafood!

Food was great and so was the atmosphere. The wait to be seated for dinner was surprisingly short for how busy it was.

I was really excited for this place from the reviews but it didn’t quite live up to the hype. They weren’t busy when we got there (before the cruise ships unloaded) and we got sat immediately. It did take a while though before our sever came to get our orders. I got the King Halibut burger. The fish was the best but the rest of the burger wasn’t anything special. Definitely loved the curly fries. Overall it was a good experience but a lot of other places here have left me in awe because their food was so good.

Parking: Not much parking!

Notified them it was a special night (our anniversary) and got a table away from the noise; the wait staff was attentive at first and then completely disappeared. Our orders were not delivered; bread never, and wine only when we twice flagged her down (the place was not particularly busy); I was told dinner service should be under an hour but after 1:15 hours we had to ask for ticket; we missed our shuttle due to the delay in getting our server to appear. dessert was described as “nothing really; just cheesecake and GF chocolate cake” so we did not order it, although I was hoping to get it to go. Not the perfect evening we’d hoped for. Prices were not cheap; food we did receive was delicious (although I cannot explain fusilli pasta in the Caesar salad), and overall it was not the dining experience I hoped for.

Food was really top shelf delicious. The only minor dissapontments were the Ahi tuna salad, the Tuna was tough and gammy. My wife king crab legs were fresh but a little heavy on the salt . We had the coconut salmon strips for appetizers, which I would highly recommend . For dinner, I had the Halibut and chip baskets. Lightly breaded, perfectly done, fresh and tasty.?. Service was not as expected. All our food came out at once, and we had to signal to get more water.

Fast and friendly service in a pleasant pine wood dining hall. The wild salmon filet was broiled and seasoned perfectly… didn’t even need the mango salsa. Dine here.

Of all the meals we had on our two week vacation, this was the absolute best. Twisted fish in Juneau was incredible. We had never had coconut encrusted fried salmon, and it was the best thing I have ever eaten. Both the haddock and the Cod were cooked to perfection. My husband said the clam chowder was the best he'd ever had. Even our son's Aurora Berryalus (sp) cocktail was great. Service was great too. An absolute must in Juneau!
