This place caught my eye as we passed the first time, TAKU - sounds authentic hahahah! After our stop at Mendenhall Glacier, we asked Doug (Great taxi driver -Juneau Taxi and Tours Doug Pegues (907) 723-6219) if he can drop off my partner and I at Taku and take the rest of our party back to the ship. My goodness this place is full of people ,so full some items are out. You'd think they'd have a problem seating and serving. Nope! It was busy but smooth sailing. I'm not posting my delicious food selection here. The restaurant was rustic looking matching Alaska. You know you can order and they ship? So I heard. I've got my order ready. Didn't know there were two kinds of lobster King and dungeon (?) Clam chowder soup looked good but finished by the time we were seated.
