Rocky's Cafe Reviews
I don't understand the high ratings. It's ok for an Alaska restaurant. Typical dirty silverware, but that's Alaska. Expensive for the quality. Don't go beginning of the week as vegetables are old. Constantly overcharging for pizza. $26 for just a regular cheese pizza, when the menu says differently. It's happened twice. Try to point that out and they just stare at you. We had Easter Lunch at the Kasilof Mercantile today Easter Sunday. We had a delicious lunch and great service
Ordered two orders of fried fish. How can’t you cook fish in Alaska? It was raw. Literally clear. They did make it right with a burger and took off both orders of fish. 🤮 3.5? More like a 1 if you are starving.

Rocky's Cafe in Kasilof, AK, has been a staple in the Alaska fishing community for many years. The restaurant serves consistently great food, including the popular clam chowder soup. Their menu features tender and juicy meats, such as prime rib and grilled chicken, paired with veggies and baked potatoes. Customers often praise the homemade feel of the dishes, especially the chicken fried steak dinner, which they love. The cafe also offers delicious desserts, with many mentioning the ice cream as a highlight. Alongside the food, there is a convenience store that sells bait, fishing supplies, and other essentials. The place is known for its unique features, like a giant mosquito and movie rentals on a level similar to Blockbuster. While the prices are a bit high and service can be slow due to the busy times, many visitors find the experience worth it. Overall, Rocky's Cafe remains a must-visit spot on the Kenai Peninsula for good food, desserts, and a bit of local history.
