I sat on the porch steps, in the sun, I was second in line to get inside KODIAK'S 1ST MEXICAN RESTAURANT! before long the guy ahead of me got up to have a cigarette, he came back wreaking of weed, gave the confidence to do the same.. for my appetite of course..They finally opened the door, and i got seated at a table by the window..I ordered a Coke, Nachos and the BURRO ESPECIAL it's called the LICENSE PLATE at El Chi's nowadays I almost always order it still, 30 some years later,...read full review

Their Birria tacos were so yummy!! I ate a carne asada taco as well (not pictured because I was hungry lol) ask for the xtra hot salsa because it is sooooo delicious!Service was top tier and she was super friendly! Atmosphere was also amazing as well. :)

The food is really good! There are no alcoholic beverages - at all, so don't expect it and you won't be disappointed. Your drinks are 12 oz cans. I would recommend this place for the food only! The staff is better at times and more friendly depending on who is working. Once I ate here I phoned in orders for pickup and the food didn't disappoint.Parking: The location is not too good so pulling out of the lot can be tricky. The parking lot is small.
